New to Dripping

Hey all, I'm new to dripping and ECF and looking for some help/advice

I use an eGo twist battery at the moment and was brought up on cartomizers, looking to enhance my vape by trying out dripping.

I'm going to get the HH357 long barrel hybrid 510 atomizer(and I only understand about half of those words). I probably want to get a drip shield but don't know where to start. Is a drip shield necessary? Do I only need an adapter if I'm going with a drip shield or would I even need one at all(drip shield)?

Drip shield, Yes.
Looks long enough to forgo the extension. I've never used a long barrel.
