Hello and welcome. What e-cig kit did you get?

P.s I love the term "y'all. My wife got me to start using it when she explained it was just a "you" plural as in the French "vous" or Spanish "ustedes". Something you can't unlearn.

My Northern friends are so embarrassed.

Sooo funny. To many I sound country as hell

My new device. Been coughing my head off since I started yesterday with some clear mucus (very sorry TMI) But has since seemed to subside somewhat. All I know is nicotine is rated a 6 Apparently it goes as high as 24? All new to me. I just really want to quit smoking the analogs

When you switch to an e-Cigarette, some coughing can happen. Try taking a Longer/Slower Hit and see if that helps.

Also, moving to an e-Liquid that has more VG in it can sometimes help also. On the Label of your e-Liquid, it should say what the VG/PG Ratio is.

What type of e-Cigarette Kit are you using?

Ahh. It's a Voopoo Mojo. Never heard of it..

However, it's Voopoo which is good and it's a variable wattage device (with TC should you wish to use/try)...

Nice! That'll do the job great.

6 is 6mg. 6 mg per 1ml of e-liquid. You can't get all 6mg when you vape it so don't consider 1 ml of liquid as 6 cigarettes or anything - it doesn't work that way.

6mg is good. 6 mg at full power on your device could be too much really. I'd be hopeful you are using it between 20 - 30 watts.

The higher the power, the more the vapor and the more nicotine floating around in the vapor. ALSO - running the atomizer inside the tank (the coil) at 20w will make it last a lot longer than 40w. 60w might work as well but there comes a point where you just burn the coil out even if the coil is rated to work up to 80w.

Try and run your coils at the low end of the power rating. I would use a 30-80w coil at 30-40 watts. Running a 20-40w coil at 39.9 watts can only end in a crash and burn out.

It's a

"Coil: 0.4ohm U2 dual coils (40-80W/best 55-65W)"

according to the website. If you can make it work nice at 40-45w stick at that for now.

65w with 6mg juice is going some. I'd vape that but it wouldn't have been possible when I started vaping. I'd have coughed and coughed, even at 20w.

Love the color of your Mojo. Don't be afraid to lower the wattage. Coughing may be a result of too high of wattage that you just aren't used to yet. With a .4 ohm coil (that's what comes with your unit) I would start out at about 20-25 watts and then go up or down from there to find your sweet spot.

Thank u all so much for the kind words and encouragement
I’m unsure how to adjust settings but even more I wouldn’t know which settings would be best. Funnny I can work an iPhone blindfolded but this thingy here is just so confusing. Hope my settings are safe

Hmmm. It looks like it is setup for a Nichrome coil and I don't know if thats what you have in there. It also looks like it is at 80 watts which is really high. If you bought your unit from a local vape store you should probably go back there and ask them to show you how to operate it and change settings. You could also find a Youtube video I'm sure.

I believe the OP is running in TC Mode for Nickel. And has the Temp set to 106C @ 80 Watts.

Taking the Mod to a Local Vape shop is an Excellent Call.

It looks like your Mod is set to run in Temperature Control (TC) Mode. And the Coil Material type is set to Nickel (Ni).

TC is a way to Limit how Hot the Coil Gets. It's kinda an Advanced Feature. And something that can be Confusing if someone is New to all this.

I would suggest taking you Mod to where you got it, and then telling them you would like some Coils for your Atomizer so you can run it in Wattage Mode.

Wattage Mode is Much Simpler to Use. And Easier to adjust the Hit you get.

BTW - Your Kit probably came with some Extra Coils.

Is there any Printing on them? And what does it say?

For me (and we're all different, of course)...that's a very low ohms...and a very high Wattage...(especially for a beginner)...

I vape a 1.6 ohm coil (in a Zenith tank) at 10 Watts...and get great flavor, satisfying vapor quantity...and NO coughing whatsoever...

(Whenever considering vape purchases...I always check out Vapecrawler first.)
