Deb I had the same problem... Go to Staples there is a USB plug in for your computer. I think it was less than 30.00. I gave mine away with my old computer or I would send you mine.

Morning peeps. Managed to seriously oversleep today.

I dunno. I'm sure there is some way, just not sure yet what it is. She has a thing that ya plug into the usb port that I think is supposed to make pc's without a wireless inside thingy in them...work with the wireless. Called the wireless company and they said, well ya need an ethernet cord. Well, that don't make it wireless....we're tryin to put this in another room from the modem.We said we have this thingy, but my puter won't recognize it when ya plug it in. They said, you have to dl a driver for it. Dl'd a driver (2 in fact) and neither of the files had a way to install the driver. Company wanted us to pay 50.00 to talk to someone who could help with something other than....go get a long ethernet cord.
that sucks thren.
See prism....I think a wireless antennae is the thingy we have..... but my puter won't recognize it. we called 2wire (the company) and they first said it was beyond their scope and I could talk to the techy guys for 50.00 or I can go to a puter shop and have them install drivers for it for 200.00 I said noooooo she pays you a monthly fee for this, you need to tell us how to make this puter work with your system that she pays for. He says...get an ethernet cord....I said...nooooooo that don't make it wireless does it???? He said go pay 200.00 for a driver....I said nooooooo drivers come WITH things when you get them and you should be able to dl them free!! Then he said go to our site and dl the driver and I said, which one, what it's called etc, he said....you'll see it.
time for me to skeedaddle and get ready for a dr appt.

Deb....gonna send you a pm. I have a feeling they are wanting you to use the cable to download the driver directly to the computer.....I've had a few older adapters that I've had to do that with cause just downloading them to a jump drive didn't work. If need be, I'll get ya my number and we can walk through it together to get it figured out, hopefully
