Ouch yiddle....that HAD to be scary.8-o

I was too young and dumb to be scared (15) Watched coconuts flying through the air, cars picked up and thrown around, palm trees uprooted. Was living on an Air Force base, we had plenty of forewarning and evac to other families living in what they called perm-housing was arranged well ahead of time. Lost most of the roof on our house, but there was only one injury on the island. Some darn fool just had to go out and take a look at the tidal wave
