I don't know enough bout dem owlsWonder........does da papa owl ever comes and give her a break?
I had a nest of mourning doves that I watched here one summer.........the male always came and traded off with the female so she could go eat and take a break from the nest.
Mating for life, the female alone does all the incubation and rarely moves from the nest, while the male owl captures food to bring to her... She is waited on beak and claw...

To me looks like the took over an old squirrel's nest. Owls too lazy to to make their own
