Pretty much all the time 40 hours a week unless I stay later for special projects. I run the laser-engraving, graphics, technical, and woodshop where I work. I basically do everything that involves a computer lol + woodshop

This particular machine is a 75-watt CO2 laser But I do use other machinery for different stuff. Hopefully will be doing sandblasting and silkscreening here soon as well. When my new building has the power lines put in I will be getting more more silkscreen capabilities as well.

Yup, easily. It also depends on the make and model but laser engravers are pretty pricey. I also wanna try to get my hands on a YAG laser or CNC machine but its whatever I can get my company owners to back lol

You may wanna check out sawmillcreek.org, they are a forum with a specific section for laser etching. You can also find used engravers on there by purchasing from another member, like the classies on ECF

Cheapest Epilog I could find on eBay - $3400 Used 35 Watt

Found some cheaper ones for around $900 shipped but I have NO experience with these dinky CO2 lasers so I dunno how well they work.

So spending any huge sum of money (that I don't have anyway) is so out of the question, but I appreciate pointing me in the right direction! right now I'm working on a couple personal business projects myself, as well as assisting my dad in getting his master plan up and running... hopefully within a couple years everything pans out and I won't have to work for anyone but myself!

Not yet! A few more weeks, she's 17 weeks.
