I live out in the middles of nowhere country. They would never admit it but lots of times when it snows we don't get mail no matter what day it is.
 I actually live pretty close to a county line in the woods. The actual town I live in will NOT deliver mail to me cuz they don't wanna drive out this far on the crappy NOT maintained well roads here. So there is no mail delivery from my town. The county NEXT to where I live got told THEY had to run mail delivery out here. Sooooo...AFTER they delivery all their mail to their town they drive out here and deliver to people. When I first moved here I had a mailbox and I got mail any time during the day from noon to 8 PM depending on how much mail they had to deliver within their own town  I said to hell with that and got a post office box in the nearest post office  Soooo because the mail carrier is from the other town, I have to have a residence address for mailing and physical address from another county which I DON'T even live in but pay property taxes for the county I DO live in. I have NEVER lived in such a totally 'B'ucked Up place as Florida. The laws suck, the majority of the people suck, the cost to live here sucks, and on and on .........worst part is I don't have the money to get out of here :(

I will hopefully be able to move out of here someday when we don't have to watch over my parents who live in the same house I grew up in. They built it when I was 4. It is a big house with 4 bedrooms upstairs on over an acre of land. They can't maintain it but won't move to a smaller place so we live in an apt over their garage to help them out with stuff. The biggest problem is with most of John's jobs being in Madison or Milwaukee gas prices are killing us. I guess it is ok for now though because we arn't even sure where we would want to live when the time comes.

You guys are doing a beautiful thing there helping mom & dad like that. Highly commendable :) I'm not really sure where I'd want to live either if I had the moola to moob. I just know it ain't here  There's no stable place any longer to get away from weather disasters any wheres, crazy crap happening all over now a days. And the older ya get, the more ailments & worries ya got etc etc...I guess only time will tell fer me  heck, I could kick da bucket today or libb to be 102 years old.
