Once I "officially" break even I'm buying myself "congrats on breaking even" and "birthday" presents. Because presents don't count in the total. Right? :D ;)

I'd like to at least hit the date once; for me it's part of my quit. After that I'm good as long as I stick to my monthly vape budget.

If you do make it you'll be ordering on my wedding anniversary. :)

Now that I've gotten my recent acquisition frenzy under control, I think I'm gonna open an account @ the Credit Union just for vaping. Do a payroll deduction equal to what I was spending on cartons, and limit myself to the cash on hand in that account. If I can manage some semblance of self-control, I might have extra $$ to spend on other, non-vaping, things.

That is pretty much what we do when one of us gets a bonus that isn't going into the house. Pull it out and put it in the credit union and then use it from there.. keeps it from eroding..

Well, I could order something as a gift for you (remember, gifts don't count in your total!) and you could repay me with pulled pork EVERYONE WINS.

When I cook for me, I make carolina-style sauces (vinegar-pepper or my absolute favorite yellow sauce) but for competition we need a barely-tangy layered red sauce. Judges hate good food I think..

In my house we have a 50/25/25 rule for unexpected cash (gifts, tax return, etc.). 50% goes to the house for responsible grown-up stuff like debt, dishwashers, and the roof. Husband and I split the remaining half and can do with it as we choose.

I actually prefer a deep dark tomato based to the local SC mustard based (unless it's Henry's, in which case it must be a 50-50 mix of the two). But that ketchup lookin' junk I see everywhere? NOPE. I tend to make my own, with way more garlic and cayenne than is natural.

Speaking of Henry's and pulled pork: one of my VPs bought us BBQ for lunch yesterday. Free pulled pork and sweet potato casserole? Oh my...
