Can I use a clearo that is between 1.4-1.8ohm, on a 3.7 volt eGo style battery?

I usually use higher res (ohms)

No problem I vape my 1.8 CE2's at 3.7-9 all the time with no issues.

So long as you know for sure your ego is 3.7 it should be fine, as the lr was made for 3.7 devices to give the same results of using higher voltage units. But keep in mind up til recently ego's where only 3.3, and lr on a 3.3 could prove to be too much on the battery.
