I've never played this game before so forgive my ignorance. Whats on hold mean? Also you only pick 4 numbers once per round correct?

"Still on hold" is just the made up name for this particular game. It doesn't really mean anything. that's why some of us play with the name. It just helps identify what game it is when they go back a few pages looking for numbers.
The number of numbers you pick depends on the rounds and can change. The current round is pick 4. The announcement for the round, basic instructions and the link to the grid that shows you what numbers are available is a page or so back.
I suppose I should have clarified (just in case no one else has a mess of ticks stuck in their minds) but yeah, that one is for Lauralie.

As for the pickins....yes and no. You may only pick once per round, however, all rounds are not necessarily 4 picks.....they can range from 1 number to 5 (usually) per round.

Welcome HandbananA. It is really not hard once you get the hang of it and the helpers are very sweet and help new people if you do something amiss. We have all blundered once or twice.

One of the fishing boys brought us a whole batch of morels last night that they picked in the bottoms. Just wanted to thank Dad for letting them fish. Ha ha Lauralie, I get to eat morels
