My nephew just called, after living in my other house I'm renting him (for almost nothing) and said the water co. left a note on the door saying the meter reads he's using 1.5 gal of water per minute. He's been there for over 3 weeks and hasn't went out in the back yard yet.
I told him to go out there and look to see ifn there is a leak, well there is a 1/4" pipe running water out of it.
MAN that's going to be one big bill!!! Lets see 1.5 gal per minute for 4 weeks =

Hey, Max- I used to own a house and had a leak in the basement that I didn't know about- I talked at length with the customer service at the water co and they cut the bill by 2/3rds- give it a shot, and good luck!
