I commend you for being the Advocate you are for your daughter FireWing. It's a Noble act for anyone to take on that responsibilty. Everyone and Anyone can and has the ability to be an Advocate for others in need. The problem lies where No one WANTS to get involved until it hits THEIR HOME or THEIR FAMILY. And more often then not, that's the time when you'll find so many others you 'thought' were your friends turn the blinds eye and walk away from you because they don't want to get involved. If I wasn't a fighter as I am, my husband would be tied to a 50ft O2 line and NEVER be able to leave this house right now. People NEED to take the stand for what's right, hold the ground or you won't get anywhere in this world now a days and I think that's horrible !!

Thank you Aggie, if I don't fight for her no one else woils, and it's not just insurance companies, it's the school district who doesn't want to pay enough for a nurse to shadow her so she could go to school and then they had the nerve to try and not give her a teacher for the home program she's on...I had to fight so hard to get her a teacher 4 hours a week...ugh it's everywhere, the corruption and greed and the need to take advantage of people who can't say no to what is being offered...sigh ok done with my little rant now lol

Stand Tall and Proud FireWing, You my dear are one of the BEST Mom's there ever was !! I know it's tiring and you get can so easily get discouraged and depressed about this. But just LOOK at what you've accomplished already !! Giving her an education in any capacity you can is amazing for her. Stay Strong and Keep That FIRE within you, You're doing a Fantasic job there. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise...EVER... I don't know anything about Cali or their laws, programs, nothing, Keep digging, there's got to be something somewhere that fits the qualifications and standards you seek to help you.
