That's one of the reasons my wife & I put in our wills that we want to be cremated. As we get closer we'll pre-pay & save the kids the angst & anguish of those details anyway. After we're gone, they can do whatever they want with the ashes. (I'd like to have mine sprinkled off the KY River bridge on the Bluegrass Parkway - it'll put me back to where my people come from. But once I'm gone, it won't really matter.)

Gosh, jj! That is SO sad! How kind of you to help out like that.... dam! Funerals are very expensive, not to mention how heart wrenching it is to lose someone so young....

Family around here lost there young son last night. The boy had many health issues. I didn't know the family well but the church is have a benefit tomorrow for them. I spent part of the day on the phone getting people to the church to make sub sandwiches to serve tomorrow.

The whole thing is to raise money because the family doesn't have the money to pay for the funeral.
I just hope it goes over really well.

I'm so sorry to hear this and this family will be in my prayers!
