Sooooo Sorry to hear this jj had to put down my oldest lab several months ago. They give us that unconditional love and I'm sure she will be missed deeply. Huggs to ya darlin'

The first couple of weeks were horrible...broke out in tears at the drop of a hat. Never dreamed that I would be so upset because we'd had other pets.
Buddie was my baby---if you know what I mean.

The tears still come but very rarely now. The avi with Tigger and a puppy dog is her. I miss her but, again, I know she is with God and in a pain free world.

So sorry jj, I know what it's like to lose your friend. My older dog is now 12 and still doing good but I hate when things happen and their your family for petes sake and it's hard to take when they have problems. Lost my other family dog friend and he was a little older but never thought I could get over it and love them so much. Wish things didn't have to go, hard to take. Hope your ok. {{{caring hugs}}}

For a long time, I knew something was wrong. I even had her in for a check up 6 months before and nothing was found. Since whatever seemed to getting worse, I took her back. They found cancer and it was either prolong with medical treatment or....

To prolong was for us so we said goodbye. She is in God's hands now and a better place.

I know what you mean. And no other pup will ever take the place of Buddie. Just have to be happy with the times you had, and relive the unforgettable great memories you made together. Even the stupid, hilarious, sometimes not so fun ones. That's what life is about, making memories. :thumbup:
