OK - this 26 acts of kindness thing is making me cry.......so cool, but why does it take a tragedy to make our Country come together?

I've not been keeping up with the news so had not heard about this. It really is a shame that it takes something so horrific to bring folks together when in fact we should love one another and share kindness just because, each and every day.
That's what I think..........I mean I'm glad that everyone is coming together for those poor people and that something good has come out of something so tragic, but if life was like that every day, maybe the tragedies wouldn't happen in the first place. I know, I'm dreaming, but it would be nice.

I usually don't watch the news cause it makes me mad or makes me cry but I got online to look for something and it was on MSN.......awesome Pay It Forward 26 times thing.
Once in a blue moon I will read the news online. We cancelled our dish network service and now just have netflix so no more 24/7 news. Like you, it just made me mad or broke my heart. I just couldn't handle it anymore.
Beautiful, If the whole world could be the way it is on this forum what a beautiful world this would be.
