Thanks jj, as much as I love the holiday's, I was ready for life and lights to be back to normal!

I must tell a tale on my DD. She got me a cute little 7" tablet for Christmas. It's all darling and everything but she just didn't understand that I don't have broadband, wifi, 3/4G or any other supersonic internet connection. So I have this plastic case and glass screen that only plays games............ which I don't do.

Guess I have to finally pony up and go with another satellite dish in my backyard... this time for internet. Iffin I have to have a dish for every new-fangled gadget soon my yard will look like a NASA dog park.

My brother keeps getting my mom gadgets...problem is even with her reading glasses she can't see them. Hubby and I joke about when we're old, our kids will be rolling their eyes at us for not using the holographic communicator or some such.

Little bit got one for Christmas and is having a blast with it! And the oldest girl sent her a gc for Amazon so she has money to buy stuff for it.

They try very hard to limit the time she spends on the computer and the TV.
