Glad you asked that mogi, cuz I was wondering a bit too. I finally tried a splitfire, and it was nice but didn't really surpass my love for my vivi's. Ordered a new 2.8 head that will be here tomorrow so I'll give it another shot with that before I totally decide how I feel about em. I'd ordered one 2.8 head when I ordered the splitfire, but I think it had a bad wick and it shredded when I was trying to pull the tip off, so I didn't get to try that head. 
The Splitfires have wonderful flavor, no one will make me say otherwise. Just the ease and size (smaller so it fits better on the robusts) have me using the evod's more.
( The evod is a bottom coil. I dunno if that helps you make any decisions or not in your thoughts

The only way you're gonna know is to try them for yourself. I'll try the evod when it gets here, have already tried the T2 and T3. I'm still loving my splitfires. It's all about what works best for YOU.
Yeah didn't like those tips I removed them and just use a little juice to put them through. I have 2 problems with my splitfire tank. One is it doesn't fit on my evic the sf threads are too small and 2 it cracked from juices
It's very hard to try and describe tastes and what all the different tanks are like Mogi. Cuz there's top coils and there's bottom coils, and there's glass tanks, and there's plastic tanks, and there's metal tanks, and the different type wicks etc. ALL these factors in "MY" opinion will and can change the flavor of a juice. It's the combo you like best is what's going to make you happy. I find a different taste from top and bottom coils alone never mind the other parts of it. If you lived closer, I'd let ya try one but it's hardly worth the 10 minute ride to my place from yours is it ?
