So, if you have seen me posting in the past few days since I signed up it's obvious that I'm very obsessed with my eGo-T. Up until last night I have had no complaints with it but I have noticed something now. The tanks themselves kind of suck in a way. I have noticed two specific problems with these:

1. Too brittle. Someone should manufacture some tanks made of a different plastic formulation. The tanks are very brittle. I dropped my eGo from my lap to the floor, about 2-2.5 feet. The tank cracked in about 8 places. The liquid remained intact and I was able to finish it before discarding the tank but there were sharp edges and air flow was messed up.

2. Bad tank/bad puncture. After 1 happened, I decided to start a new tank. Now I'm not sure if it was the tank itself or the puncture from the atomizer but over the course of an hour (not vaping at all) 75% of the tank drained through the atomizer and got everywhere. Since I've went back to one of the old tanks it is working fine again so the atomizer is fine I think.

Now, these are just minor gripes and I still love my PV. It just means that I need to be careful and keep a stock of tanks. In the big picture, with tanks costing ~1.50 this is no huge problem. Just thought I'd post to see if anyone else has had these problems.

Ive had mine for about two weeks now (i think?) i dont like it at all anymore. I havent had any brittle tank problem but im always messing with the atty to get it to vape right. ie; blowing it out cause its flooded, constantly priming it cause it wont wick right, getting nasty atty taste, real tight draw etc. I got a map tank mod and threw that on my ego and it was night and day. ( not bashing the ego T, just mentioning flaws ive experienced )

Same here. I've had mine for just over a week and am very disappointed. One atty works decently, in that it doesn't always taste like plastic but just most of the time (yes, I blew all of the primer out of both atties). The other atty tastes like plastic all the time, even after cleaning. There's barely any flavor coming through from my juices, even those with 2x flavor. I've tried all of the suggestions, cleaning the atties, poking the wick, creating a second wick from CE2 wicking material stuffed into the tank, etc. Nothing I've done will make it work.

So, I'm going back to a PigCig and kr8 cartos. I'm not upset that I bought the eGo-T and it didn't work for me, just disappointed. If I hadn't done it, I would still be wondering and itching to buy, so at least now I know. And I now have two 1000mah eGo batteries that I can use with other stuff, or with new versions of the tanks and atties as issues get worked out.

Bummer for you all having problems. I have had my ego-t atties/tanks for 3 weeks and they are working flawlessly. I have been vaping on one atty almost exclusively for over 2wks and it is working as well as it did on the first day. I have been using BWB juices (70/30 pg/vg) and Halo juices. No maintenance of atty...just changing tanks and putting in a new flavor.

However, on one ego-t atty I used my vaperite juices 50/50 and it clogged up in 2 days

Flavor and vaper is great on my ego 650mah battery. Can't wait to try this out on my provari when it get it.

cheers,

Love my Ego-T the only problem was the little piece that pushes into the tank blocked the atty if put on backwards.Like after a second filling of it.. It drains from the bottom but if you look there's one way it faces. The piece has to be on the backside. Maybe this is why others are thinking they are clogged. Just a thought. After i figured that out (first 2 hours) its been awesome.

I have an eGo Tank 'TIP' many of you may find helpful. If you're finding some 'vapes' to be a little 'dry' or 'burning' (due to heavy vaping or chain vaping sessions with no pause between draws especially) .... try a few primer puffs without tripping the manual button. The eGo Tank atty doesn't prime the same way as standard eGo attys.. (implementing Gravity)... it implements 'air flow' to prime the atty... so a few long 'dry puffs' (primer puffs) prior to depressing the power button takes care of this occasional issue. Here's another thing I've recognized that will red flag you that you're vaping this Atty too hot... no 'sizzle' when you press the power button and vape... that familiar standard 510 eGo (healthy) sizzle is the sign of a moist and well performing Atty. (No sizzle means 'dry' means 'burn'.. not good... ). Hope this information was helpful. :)

Only prob that I have had was I had it at work today, put it in my eyeglass case and went to go on break and took it out and all the juice had leaked out everywhere, Yuck, what a mess! I was under the impression that they wouldn't leak, but then again the tank doesn't come with a plug for the mouthpiece so thought there was no need for one, dumb aren't I!

Ugh.... I didn't think about this. Ours should be delivered tomorrow.

I hope that I have better luck than some of you here: I got my eGo-T a week ago and loved it so much after a day that I ordered a (second 1000 mah) battery and the PCC, which I'm hoping to see in the mail soon. So far, my only gripe is the occasional bad/burnt taste and the feeling that I'm not getting the full taste. I've put together (but haven't yet used) a "starter" DIY kit for making my own e-liquid, which includes a half-a-dozen bottles of Lorann flavors.

Has anyone (eGo-T owners, I mean) experimented with adding flavors to "store-bought" e-liquids? How's it work out? Suggested ratios?

As for the tanks, having reading much of what's been said here before getting the eGo-T, I pop the tank hole with a toothpick and rotate the tank as I insert it, kind of "screwing it on" - so far, I haven't had any trouble with my them.

Here, there, everywhere!
Friday will be the two week mark for me - my first one from LF (Dont know which version) I had to mess with the wick a little and it works awesome since. The other two I got from Cignot (Version 2) worked great from the get go (I soaked them in hot water first after blowing out the primer). The only thing I do make sure and do is blow the atty out whenever I change a tank.

Carry mine in an eyeglass case - no leaking.
Dropped mine twice on our tile floor - no cracking.

I am extremely satisfied with mine and hope I do not have any problems. Only 2 weeks in - there is time for change on these statements - hope not though.
