Hi all....I found about these ecigs a few weeks ago and immediately LOVED the idea behind them. I am not a heavy smoker....I only smoke about half a pack to a pack a day and thats only when I travel on the road (which is every week) During the weekends at home I may have 2 or 3 a day. I travel pretty much every week for work and spend at least two to three nights in hotels. I hate having to wait till the last possible minute to go thru security at the airports so I can "maximize" my smoking time outside (unless the layover is in ATL and they have those yucky smoking rooms..lol) and more and more hotels are going to 100%non smoking these days (Marriott lost my business years ago as they are nationwide a NON-smoking hotel chain.)
Anyway, thats my story
So anyway, being the impatient person I am I went to my local mall two weeks ago and bought a starter kit labeled as "green smoke"...cost was 100 bucks and only came with one battery/charger and 5 cartridges. I have not been happy with this kit as it seems its only good for the first few puffs and each cartridge does not seem to last as long as they should...At least after the initial burst of vapor I get when its new.. after a while,it seems like I have to puff on it at least 3 sometimes 4 times to get any hit and even that does not seem like allot.
I just ordered a 901 kit from saveasmoker.com (chose them because they are in AL and should be faster shipping to me in FL).
What should I expect the difference between this 103 style (I am guessing its the 103 based on the info I read here correct me if im wrong) and the DSE 901 I just ordered??
Will it automatically turn off like the 103 does after 2 seconds (the LED goes out) OR does the 901 stay lit as long as I am dragging??
Do the seperate atomizer/cartridge design provide more consistent "vape" during the life of the cartridge?
FYI, I am used to smoking MB ultra light menthols and even after using this green smoke (pos??) the MBs taste kinda nasty to me. I bought a pack of American Spirit light menthols today and MAN what a difference they are. They DO taste much better to me than MB's. My plan is to keep smoking analogs after meals/drinking and hopefully just go right to the ecig in two weeks. I just really enjoy that tobacco taste sometimes but I think this ecig thing might work for me as long as I get the same "hit and feel" as a real cig.
