Welcome to ECF. Most of us have been there ... trying to quit and having a difficult time of it that is.
I only offer my experience: I smoked a carton a week for more than 35 years. I received my first PV on January 15, 2010 and quit a 35 year habit that day.
Now, it must be said that not everyone's story is quite that amazing, but I'm not alone either ... not at all.
A lot of people have a harder time. Some continue to smoke at a reduced rate for months after they start
vaping. Some of them feel it necessary to suppliment with snus.
But, even if all you accomplish at first is a 50% reduction in your cigarette consumption ... that's a big WIN!
For some reason,
vaping simply doesn't work for everyone. I don't want that to be a discouragement ... just full disclosure.
What have you got to lose? The cost of a carton of cigarettes, with a good possibility of kicking the coffin nails to the street.
And, you've found the right place for all the help you might need along the way. Hundreds of people eager and willing to help you with your questions and help with any difficulties you may encounter.
There's a wealth of information on ECF. Read, read, read. Ask advice. Get a good PV and give it a go.
Again, welcome.
