Figured I'd say Hi.

I've been vaping for about 2 1/2 months (since like late november, early december), now being an engineer in training (full time college student) I tend to pick things up and run with them and progress exponentially lol

I started off with a 650 e-go and an absolute piece of .... Kanger protank 2, from there I introduced my buddy to vaping and we pretty much upgraded mod for mod in attempt to one up another.

I used to race r/c cars so I'm not new to lithium chemistry batteries (lipo, LiFep04, Li-mn, li-ion etc) and I still have my hobby chargers that are leaps and bounds better than these garbage chargers (sorry, not sorry) everybody using and also have way more safety features built in

So, in short time we discovered the wonderful world of drippers :D well since my ego had died, I decided to build my own (very ghetto, unfinished, but works) unregulated box mod using one of my saddle pack lipo's from my r/c, which is a 5500mah cell capable of over 45c constant discharge. And let me say, this thing has balls of steel and will fire anything you got with a smile on its face.

So off i went to the local wild bills to pick up a couple Tobh Atty clones (18650 copper, and 26650 copper) since they were 50% off the clearance price. My buddy had picked one up a few days prior and had the B&m dude build him a dual coil setup to run on his hades/atty combo, I tried it and loved it. We then modded the crap out of the air holes and have a pull similar to just breathing in normally, perfect for super sub ohm.

So my first ever build, was a dual 22awg nichrome build to .08 ohm :ohmy::2cool: and boy did she rip. Now dont preach to me about sub ohming and blowing the battery, I've purposely blown many lipos for fun and know what they can and can't do, and have been into audio for a while and have a firm grasp on ohm's law.

So i was bored and clamped that setup pulling about 38 amps and only had a drop of .1v during a good 5-6 second hit.

Well I have more to post, but thats already a lot of reading.

My current daily is an IPV mini 2 and swapping out my lemo and atlantis depending how i feel lol

tl:dr new guy to vaping already gone hardcore and deep into the rabbit hole. oh and hi.

Welcome to the forum, when you get more post we would like to see pics of the lipo box mod.

haha believe me, its rough. once i got into regulated mods it got pushed to the side and i havent had the gumption to finish it. right now its just e-taped together with an ego 510 fitted. my end goal was a built in voltmeter and good 510 before actually epoxying it together. and then wrapping it in a CF wrap.

I may retro fit a couple mosfets into it and an led before its all said and done, but i dont have the tools here at school in the dorms lol

Welcome: that was a good read, I also used to race r/c trucks (nitro) now if you can build a nitro powered vaporizer you could really one up your friend...lol

Actually i have an old t-maxx laying around, i could fit a couple old brushed motors for generators and some caps for power storage, hmmmm you got my wheels turning now lol

there you go, get a 3.3 engine the brushed motors, hook it for a handheld bump start or pull start would work also. put on a 360 pipe some 30% nitro im sure it could be done.

Dumb thread got moved and i couldn't even post in my own intro thanks to being a newb lol

I dont know what burns worse. high nic levels or nitro exhaust
