Hi, I am new to vaping. Smoked a pack a day for the past 15 years. Tried patches, gum, nothing worked in the long term.

I went to a local vape shop and bought an Aspire K1. After 2 weeks, i feel ready to upgrade. The Aspire is ok, not great. I bought a spare battery but they weaken and need charging frequently. Also, the pyrex tank is small and needs frequent filling. I also tried a few different juices at the shop and notice the flavors are not as rich in my Aspire. So, I am looking for something with longer battery life, and richer flavor. Less frequent battery charging would be nice too. Any suggestions on a kit for me ?

I often recommend an iStick 30 watt or Coolfire 4 (both mods) with an Aspire Mini Nautilus or eLeaf GS Air M (both tanks). Videos below.

Nicotine

A "general guideline" for nicotine concentration in e-liquid to the number of cigarettes smoked per day. If you are subohming (resistance under 1.0Ω) cut these nicotine levels by at least 50%.

06 mg = 10 cigarettes or less
12 mg = 20 cigarettes
18 mg = 30 cigarettes
24 mg = 40 cigarettes

eLiquid/Juice

PG = Propylene Glycol - the "flavor carrier" of e-liquid. A secondary source of "throat hit", but not as strong as the nicotine concentration. Some people have a sensitivity or even an allergy to PG. It's very thin.

VG = Vegetable Glycerin - the "vapor maker" of e-liquid. Used as a sweeter in many food sources, and also as a skin emollient. It's very thick. Often labeled just "Glycerine"

PG and VG are often used together in different ratios in e-liquid. For example, a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. Many juice vendors offer a range of different ratios as far as PG/VG.

The Aspire Nautilus Mini (I prefer the mini over the full size) is a step up from the K1. It is made for mouth to lung vape. There are many other choices depending on how you vape. Kanger makes Subbox kits where you can build your own coils if you desire.

There is two main choices in picking out a mod (the battery part).
One is to get a mod with an internal battery where you recharge with a usb cable plugged into a wall plug or pc. On most of these you can vape while it charges (but you are tethered to a cable while it does). Examples are the iStick 30 watt, 40 watt, 60 watt, Coolfire IV, Evic ,
The other choice is to get a mod with replaceable batteries (usually 18650 size). When it needs recharged you just swap out the battery and put the old/used one in a separate battery charger (like the Nitecore Intellicharger i2-$15). The plus side is you aren't tethered by a cable, BUT you'll have to spend more money to begin for extra batteries (around $8 each online plus a charger).

The K1 is a baby tank (no disrespect to it).
Aspire make a choice of other tanks with the same technology in the atomizer heads/coils. One of those would do you perfect.

I'm guessing when you say K1, you mean a 'kit' so I can see why the batteries are a little underwhelming.
