Hi all,

Thanks for providing such an awesome community for such an awesome hobby! I've been coming here on and off for a few months during my various Google searches on anything and everything eCig related. Figured it was time to finally sign up and contribute where I can, but mostly to be a part of a community of like-minded people. I also apologize in advance for the length of this post... I'll try to condense it as much as possible, but I get a little excited when taking about vaping, so it might run a little long.

I quit smoking analogs about a month and a half ago and have been vaping exclusively ever since. I'm still in the process of amassing various tools of the trade, but have found a couple of setups that work really well for me. My go-to setup at home is a Vamo V3 with a Kayfun Lite Plus and my favorite juice from a local vape shop. When on the go or at work, I have several eGo C-Twist batteries and various atomizers that I carry with me. Protanks and iClear 30s are two of my favorite tanks. Also got an Innokin VTR on order that I'm looking forward to playing around with.

I plan to pick up a dripping atomizer and mechanical mod soon. Not sure which I'll go with yet, but I'm moving in that direction for vaping at home. Just so many choices to make... which is another reason why I decided to sign up and spend some more time here!

Lastly, I am looking for a recommendation on juice from some of the experienced juice connoisseurs around here. I have collected quite a few different juices from local shops as well as online stores like Mt. Baker Vapor, so I have a decent range of flavors to play with. However, there are only two - well, three - juices that I'd consider an all-day vape for me. One is a mix of juices from a local shop, which consists of one part cinnamon with two parts "Starburst", which tastes exactly as it sounds. It is about the only sweet juice that I can tolerate smoking for extended periods of time. The other is simply Earl Grey tea flavored, which isn't sweet at all. I love the bergamot flavor of Earl Grey tea and so the e-liquid has naturally become my absolute favorite.

Now, my question: What are some other juices out there that have a nice earthy flavor, like bergamot, but isn't bergamot? Does that even make sense? :?:

I'm not too fond of coffee or tobacco flavors, so I figured tea is probably going to be my best bet to find some more earthy tones like bergamot. I just don't have a clue where to look. I've just about exhausted my options at MBV and am still very new to the hobby, so I'm not too sure where to turn for quality juices online.

Anyhow, sorry for the novel-length introduction. I appreciate your patience in reading it and, of course, any advice you may be willing to lend me.

Welcome to ECF! There are numerous threads about ejuice. Browse away and remember, taste is subjective. Some juices that others rave about, I can't stand, and vice-a-versa. The best way is to find a vape shop that has a "juice bar" where you can sample all their flavors.

Enjoy your stay here!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! And, yeah, I've quickly learned just how subjective taste can be. I have ordered several flavors online that had terrific reviews, only to find that I can't stand them!

I've only been to a few vape bars around my neck of the woods, and have found some interesting flavors, but nothing that I just fell in love with like I did with the Earl Grey. Regardless, I'll still pretty new to all of this, so I've got a lot more exploring to do in my future. I'm definitely not getting discouraged. It's pretty amazing the variety that's out there for vapers, so I'm confident I'll find something.

I love the earthy flavors I would recommend ganja juice they have great earthy flavors I just ordered there 9 pack sampler

Thanks very much for the recommendation, I'll be sure to take a look at what they have to offer!

Your taste buds are going to keep changing for a while so don't make up your mind too much about flavors; some stuff might taste bad today yet a month or two later you opinion might change.

And I always recommend keeping a stash of unflavoured around; sets a taste baseline; if unflavoured tastes bad then you gotta tweak your tank.

Hi Kinetic and welcome to ECF. The search for the "perfect" vape can be ever elusive. I've found a few ADV's, but vape flavors that are very different from my ADVs in the evening. One of the suggestions I appreciate from the folks here is to enjoy the search. Even when I get a juice I don't like, it is still part of the search and I have learned what I don't like, which is helpful. And no matter what, I try to remember that the search is part of the fun of vaping.

Glad you joined us and I hope you share more of your experience. Keep the vape and namaste.

That's an excellent point, I never even considered my taste buds improving from being off the cigarettes. Foods are definitely starting to taste more vibrant, so I guess I'm in the beginning stages of healing, but that's definitely something I'll keep in mind, as well as the unflavored juice recommendation.

Thank you for your input! I also agree wholeheartedly regarding the search for the perfect vape and how fun it can be, especially when you find something that really works well or tastes great! Thank you also for the warm welcome, I look forward to participating on these boards wherever I can.

I don't know too much about mechanical mod, I think this is one of the popular dripping atomizer:
igo-w4-rebuildable-atomizer-by-youde
Search more, you might be able to find a coupon or better deal. Just want to show you the picture.
I think I understand your "bergamot flavor of Earl Grey tea" taste, have you tried anise flavor? Certain kind of cinnamon flavor might work as well. Then you need glass tubes since those spices "eats" plastic and kills the atomizer.

I am pretty new to this vaping stuff too. My wife and I have been trying cartos for a year or so but just 3 weeks ago really started getting into it. Sometimes you gotta play around with flavors and mix or let them sit for a while before they taste right. I found this site called virgin vapors and they have some of the tastiest stuff I've come across yet. Supposedly their absolute virgin line is 100% organic. I've been vaping on their vanilla mixed with peach, all day long. Each are a bit too powerful by themselves for me but when I mix them 50/50 they kinda balance each other out. The tank or coils definitely make a big difference too. And play around with voltage/wattage, each juice has it's own sweet spot. Good luck finding your all day vape, I am still looking. :)

I have tried anise flavor in the form of Mt. Baker Vapor's Absinthe. It is, well, a bit too aromatic for me. And that's coming from someone who used to enjoy drinking absinthe!

I do appreciate the dripper recommendation, though!

Sometimes you find a really really nice flavor, but.... there's just something in it that has a kind of aftertaste that you just don't like.

There's nothing like DIY DoItYourself where you know exactly what goes into your eliquid.

I haven't quite progressed to the DIY eJuice stage yet. I'd like to, but have heard absolute horror stories about people getting pure nicotine liquid on their skin and getting sent into a very uncomfortable parallel dimension from it! I'll get there one day, but first I need to find out the perfect balance of mixture and flavor before I go playing the part of a mad chemist and end up annihilating the world as we know it!

I appreciate the Virgin Vapors recommendation and will definitely look into them. I also wish you and your wife continued success in your search!

Well the strongest Nic base one can usually get is 100 mg, 10%, so no real possibility of that happening. Then that is added to one's mix to get the desired 12-24 mg per ml target level. It's more of a gourmet chef scenario than the mad chemist.

When I bought pre-mixed juice, one of my favorite venders was Alien Vapor . Enjoyed many of their unique flavors.

Hey, if you are anywhere near this place Hand-Crafted ePipes, custom made personal vaping devices from ePipeMods.com ...more than just an eCig check it out. The pipe sauce is awesome, so I would think the steam sauce would be too.

That's awesome, they're only about an hour drive from me, so I'll definitely be checking their store soon!

That's good to know that I probably can't getting my hands on a nic base stronger than that. I'm a cautious person by nature, but figured the bottles of 'pure' nicotine were just that and that I'd end up somehow managing to kill myself if I ever had some!

Thanks also for the Alien Vapor recommendation. I'm looking forward to trying out some new juices from all of these vendors very soon.

I don't deal with any conc nicotine; I don't deal with any conc flavors.

All I do so far is buy 24mg 100%PG eliquid, no sucralose etc, and add my own glycerin.
Easy way to do your own DIY

So I don't actually know everything that goes into it, but the bulk of it by volume is my own glycerin!

Welcome! I have been vaping awhile and don't DIY either yet. I have tried tons of different companies and there are some good ones with great sampler packs that you can try. You may find that you like things you never thought you would. I never thought I'd like fruity flavors but they have become my favorite. I can't stand any tobacco flavors. I love Heather's Heavenly Vapes, MtVaporBaker, JohnsonCreek, GoodLifeVapor, Ahlusion....they are all great and reliable companies. They also have coupons on here for a lot of them. Good luck!
