Hello everyone.
New guy from Naples, Florida here.
"Wow"...just "wow" is all I have to say for vaping.
Just came off of analogs exactly one week ago to the minute.
So stoked that this is the only thing that is working for me.
Got hooked up through Pelican Vapor here in Naples with a Vision Spinner 1300 and some kanger evod tanks.
So far, best flavor choices are 18mg RY4, 18mg Rum, 18mg spearmint.

Also, through my rave reviews of this new practice have inspired a couple more analog smokers to give it a try.
Very happy to be here.
Look forward to great advice and perspectives on this E-Cig forum.

Welcome vaping and to ECF, Dave.

To make sure you stay off the tobacco, pick up a backup battery. It's not only nice to have one to vape while the other is charging, but you aren't dead in the water if you lose or damage one. If you don't have a USB port in your car that will charge your battery (test it), get a USB to cigarette lighter outlet adapter. Not only is it nice for travel, but it can be vape saving during a power outage.

Especially in Florida, I wouldn't leave my vaping gear in the car. Certainly, never leave a battery charging in a hot car!

Hope this helps.

Thanks LowProfile. This was my exact thought this morning. BTW. If I did that , I wonder how long it would stay good if stored. E.G. I would buy (2) more. 1 as an everyday back up and 1 to be stored in event of some problem. Yes. my Vision Spinner 1300 is USB chargeable. And I have though about the heat in Florida and want to be careful. Thanks for such great insights,

Welcome man, I too am new to this. I love vaping. I even bought some 0mg juice so I could just vape when I do not need nicotin.
I have gone three days with out an analog cig and loving every min. However I can tell you it is very hard from me to stick just to vaping. I am however doing very good. I am sure it will be easier the longer I go.

Most of the batteries come charged to 40-50% which is ideal for long term storage. However, I'd hold off on getting a third 1300 aMH Spinner until you're sure that's the right form factor for you all the time. For example, you might consider a non-VV 450-650 mAH for stealth. If you hang around on ECF very much, you're probably going to get the bug to go bigger and a lot more expensive, when what you have is plenty to substitute for cigarettes. Just a warning. :D

I hear the Kanger eVODs are great, but I use the Kanger ProTanks. If you're considering a juice known to eat plastic, the PT glass is immune. I think your eVOD heads will fit in a ProTank, but haven't personally tried it. Personally, I think it's just best to skip the top coil clearomizers and go to the Kangers, especially with thicker juice. They come with two 2.5Ω heads and for those not getting a VV eGo (twist, spinner), I recommend a five pack of lower resistance 1.8Ω heads due to the lower voltage of non-VV.

I generally recommend starting out with 18 mg for light/ultra light smokers and 24 mg for full strength smokers (i.e. Marlboro Reds). With higher nic, I tend to need to vape less and vice versa if you want to vape more for the habit of it without getting so much nic. I also start friends out with both PG and VG based liquids and recommend they try a 50/50 mix of them. That's my favorite.

Congrats Dave
Umm..., err...you said you are in Naples. That's sunny Naples. Florida there on the ocean, right?
Well, umm... I'm gonna have to come there and stay a few days so, umm..., err..., you have proof. Yea, so you have proof, that's the ticket. I'll even tuck a spare battery in my luggage.
Getting a little chilly here in Michigan, you know? :)
