hello all

i figured i would post this in here, as it is my first post and everything

if you don't wanna read about me, the questions is at the bottom

i found out about e-cigs 2 weeks ago, and can't seem to get enough info on these little things. i joined last weekend, and have probably spent about 40 hours on here reading up. lots of information, almost too much at times it seems. :D

a little history. im 26 years old. i grew up with exercise induced asthma, that went away for the most part in my early school years. i started smoking cigs ,newports :D, when i was about 15. started pretty slow, progressed into a pack a day by the time i turned 16/17. i smoked newports for about 4 years, than switched to non-menthol, camal/marlboro lights for the next 3 or so, maintaining the pack a day intake. at this point, i just couldn't do it anymore health wise, and quit. waking up wheezing, smokers cough, it was just stupid for me to even start smoking. i stayed cig free for about 2 years until i married a smoker and started again for about 3 months. again, stupid.

so here i am, and i miss my cigs really &^%$%$ bad.

when i first saw the e-cig, i couldn't believe my eyes, and couldn't wait to get my nicotine habit back. i ordered a KR808A from a vendor (not SE) and got it last wednesday. needless to say i am super disappointed in it. the vape is just inconsistent. tastes like garbage. the cartridges run out super fast. its kind of a pain to fill, not too bad. im using some of ParkeD's Nicquid, and the stock cartridges, so i know its not the liquid. battery life is alright i guess. to be honest, i don't use the damn thing enough to know how good the battery life is. its really really harsh.

so basically, i have a KR808A, and am looking for something with bigger capacity, good taste, smoother throat hit, lots of vapor (possible with a smoother e-cig?). models im considering are the M401, RN4081, and the KR808D. i know some of those cartridges are the same size, maybe better efficiency? definitely open to suggestions. want to stay away from the bigger sizes e-cigs, only mini sized one for me. no screwdrivers or anything like that.

so what do you guys think?

Welcome to the forum! JMO, but I have had the 510 for about a month and I love it! Great taste and throat hit. Batteries generally last 2 to 3 hours depending on how much you vape, but only take about an hour to charge, so one is always charging while I'm vaping. They also have PCC's for the 510 so you could have a couple fully charged at all times. I also have the manual, which helps with the battery life. Refilling or topping off is easy. It got me off of analogs so I'm thrilled. Good luck with your vaping quest!

Based on your heavier usage I would recommend either an 801 penstyle or a 510. The 510 will have manual batteries which is a huge advantage. The 801 features a larger atomizer and larger cartridge (less topping off/ refilling). The 801 battery will last longer than the 510.

I know you said no screwdriver etc.., but take a look at the Janty Stick. You gat the advantages of an 801 with a manual switch and long battery life. In addition it has a built in passthrough..........................

Keep in mind the more it looks like a cigarette, the shorter the battery life.(As a general rule of thumb)

    I'd also look at the M201 - looks like an 801, but 801 > DSE801 IMO.
(like the 510 and 401/EVOs as well that others have mentioned).

Video reviews of all of them by several of us in the, err, surprise..Video Reviews section of ECF :)

innovapor.com has great 'trial' deals on EVO (M402) and 510 kits, litecigusa.com has the M201.
Full vendors lists available in the 510 and M401/2/3 sections.

    The setup you need
    Joye 510
    extra manual batteries
    extra atomizers
    pcc case for 510
    lots of juice

www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd they have the absolute best prices and customer service, and their juices are freaking awesome. I am in no way affiliated with the company just a very impressed customer who has had dissappointments from other suppliers.

im glad you decided to stop wegster. i have watched many of your videos over the last few days. very very helpful.

i must say im kinda confused by this first sentence in your response. i dunno if im not getting it, or if its mis-written? sorry

also, as a question in general. is vapor production directly related to throat hit or nicotine content? how do these three factors play in with each other? i like my nicotine, and vapor, but not so much the throat hit. i know i came from newports, but i like it smooth now. :D
