New guy off the analogs.

I'm a newer vaper, and I've been nearly off the analogs since September. I won't lie, I still bum one once in a while from a coworker, but its getting easier to say no since improving my setup. I started with a couple ego type batteries and clearos, and have since built myself a madvapes 5v mod with a nice sub tank from momandpops. I'm excited about turning this addiction into a hobby, and I plan on building more mods in the future. I got most of my info lurking on these forums, so I figured I should join the party and say, "Thank you, and Hello!"

Welcome and congrats. The mods do make a difference. I started with ego style too and had a hard time. Upgraded to an SVD and it made a big difference. Still takes a lotta self discipline if you're tempted tho. Just gotta take the leap Best o luck

YOU CHEATING BLASPHEMER!!! naw, just joking, congrats on getting mostly off the analogs, you will eventually get to the point that the taste of an analog will make you feel ill and just smelling smoke will bother you (I remember all the times when I was smoking and some one would walk by and make a big deal about waving the smoke away and I would think "get real, its not that bad", and now I am GASP, becoming one of them.)

I took up vaping 6 weeks ago and also must admit that on occasion I will smoke an actual cigarette. However I don't count that as smoking as long as I grimice 3 puffs in and toss it in the asstray.

Welcome to ECF and congrats! I haven't had a cig since a week before I started vaping. I'm so addicted that I cannot have just one..tried that so many times and would buy my own pack the same day or next.

But if it works for you to cut way down, that's awesome!

Its been great. I can taste things now! I find tobacco flavors have helped the most. I think I found my favorite so far with the RY4v2 from M&Ps. I was also a pipe smoker, and reminds me of pipe tobacco a little.

Welcome! Don't worry about still having one once and a while. I started off by suplimenting vaping for analogs. I was only vaping 50% of the time, analogs the rest. Then I slowly worked the analogs out. It's different for everyone. As long as you can eventually give up the analogs, you're on the right path!
