Hi y'all-

I've smoked for the last 20 years - typically 3+ packs a day, 5 on a rough or long day.
About 3 years ago I started doing RYO with high end tobacco to save money.
MUCH better taste and no chemicals like the FSC they use nowadays.

Not once did I plan to stop smoking. Period. Ever.
My huge pipe collection and European tobacco blends would never forgive me.

20 days ago a friend was gracious enough to explain vaping and gift me an MVP2, AeroTank and some juice.
Meh, what the heck let's try it out... he did go to all that trouble after all.

1 week later there were 2 MVPs, 2 VV3s and a vast assortment of tanks and juices in my house.
They followed me home.... honest...

Gazillions of YouTube videos watched, lots of reading here on ECF.

1 week later my ProVari and Russian 91% arrived along with a ton of other vapemail including 100ml of Boba's.
Quick and dirty coil build on some silica and wow this is nice... better order a spare Russian...

Currently looking for my next mod.
Wishlist includes: ZNA, ProVari 3.0, and possibly an RDA.

About 10 days into vaping the last analog came off the machine, and I'd smoked less than 20 that whole time.
Loving this journey and still have a lot to learn.

Thanks for a great forum !

Welcome and congrats on quiting. Boy you sure do move fast!!!:)

Sounds like your having a blast, which is a good thing. I second the vote for a mech mod.... I was nervous at first with getting a Zen 18650 w/ Z2 Carto but man do i love it. I bought a RDA at a brick and mortar and havent used the cartotank unless I am out and about. Building coils is pretty simple and you definatly know when to change out batteries. I dont sub-ohm and keep my coil around 1.5ohms. I like to change flavors so it just a matter of changing cotton with a quick rinse and dry burn.

Holy cow!
Thanks for all the kinds words and the warm welcome folks.

Have looked at mechs quite a lot but to be honest really love my VW setting on the MVP.
Squonking really intrigues me a LOT, but who knows where this wild ride will go next.

Hoping to contribute more over time :)

Edit: UPS just showed up so I'll be building a microcoil tonight and wicking with Japanese cotton.

I started with egos years ago and then finely got into the the vw/vv world with a Smoketech SID and loved it. After two weeks I was ready to get a Provari but holding off for the 3.0 model. So i bought a ZEN and some DYI juice stuff. I am kinda on American made kick and see myself with a Provari, ZNA, Reo, and a Steam Monkey with in a year.:vapor:

Here's a guy that used a super cheap pipe from China to make a regulated mod.

Cool video and really good info.
Can't say for sure, but don't think I have any pipes that were less than $400.... soo... I'd need to buy one to try this.
Another project :D

just ordered a Joytech Evic Supreme today.
Thanks. 3 ProVari huh? Now I want another one!!
I've got to look into the Evic Supreme, have heard good things about them.

Ordered a Vapor Shark last night.... ooops the mouse slipped.

Yeah, pretty much the same here, although now I really, really enjoy a good pipe tobacco. (I know, heresy.) But they taste and smell so much better now when they're an occasional indulgence instead of a regular thing.

For me, well, started out with a Spinner II and an Aspire BCD.

Next was a Innokin VV3 and a Protank II

Then I got a Protank III

Then there was the Kafun Lite + clone.

Boy that thing looks stupid on my VV3 and I have to use it on passthrough because it sucks the battery. This bites. Oh well, it works, sorta. Still looks really funky.

Then my Spinner II died. Rut roh. Now what? Lets see, I can keep buying lots of $20-40 bits and pieces to keep me going or ...

I just ordered a Provari blem. $130.

Figured that will keep me until the Provari 3.0 comes out, right?
