Hi everyone I have been lurking for a few days doing some research before running out and purchasing equipment and juice. Let me start by saying that I am 25-30 yr analog smoker and looking to make the jump to vaping.

I am looking to get some equipment and juice to get the ball rolling. From what I have read so far it looks like I am looking for a 510 with manual batteries. I am also looking for some menthol juice that will replicate what
I am currently used to as much as possible. Money is a issue at the moment who has a fairly decent starter deal with some menthol juice to get me rolling?

Nicotine level I am not sure of either but the one thing I do not want to do is short myself causing me to have to pick up a analog again.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

welcome and good luck!
I started with the 510, I like an automatic battery now, but was using the manual one at first, and still use both.

be sure to have at least 2 batteries and 2 atomizers so you always have a charged one ready (and an extra atomizer in case yours dies).

My Lady and I found that the menthol juices were not enough like tobacco, so we mix it with a tobacco juice and that seems to be about right :)

nic level is really something ya gotta figure out yourself... I use high (24 I think) and that's super fine for me, but I think I could go lower... my Lady uses stronger, but many use less... it's really an individual thing.

if you really want to quit analogs, my suggestion is to not worry about it too much... no stress. for me it happened almost overnight and now I don't like real smokes at all... my Lady still smokes a bit, but she's way down.

I was a 20 to 30 a day smoker for just over 30 years, and as you can see by my banner, I'm doing pretty good now :)

best of luck!

Your mom said not to say...
Congrats on your decision and I think you will find you made an excellent choice to use E-Cigs to help you quit smoking. I received my Dragon, a m401 re-engineered for that brand according to JD who runs Truesmoker.com on 9/11/09 and I have not had a single analog since I opened my E-Cig kit. I think you will find that the 510 is also an excellent choice for your first E-Cig and should be effective for you as well. Many people feel that the 510 hits better, it's a matter of personal choice I guess.

Now what is it exactly you are looking for, a complete 510 kit with 2 complete E-cigs (2 atomizers and batteries), charger, 5 carts prefilled, and maybe another small bottle of juice depending on the vendor. I don't smoke menthol but I did get the Wrigleys flavor from one supplier and that taste like Wrigley's Spearmint which is kinda menthol like. Bubble gum also seems to taste like that as well as the varied menthol flavors available at sites you should be able to find something you like. Just keep in mind these are not exactly like tobacco cigarettes, there are subtle to great differences in flavor but nothing so great as nothing that you can't tolerate or get used to fairly quick.

I can point you to a couple of places to get a single bare bones 510 kit that has just one complete 510 E-Cig, charger, 5 carts, and small juice for $32 to your door. Keep in mind though that this has no spare parts. I would recommend a kit like this for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of cash to see if this is something that can work for them or for a regular 510 user who wanted a spare around but don't a complete kit with 2 whole cigs in it.

I have another person that has them about $10 cheaper than that but I am not sure about if juice comes with it, I doubt it at that price but you can't go wrong for under $25 shipped to your door to see if this is something that can do you some good. Feel free to pm me for the information on the last kit I mentioned. You can find the $32 one at InnoVapor :: The Finest in Personal Vaporizers use discount code innovapor10 for 10% off your purchase and that will put it at around $32 shipping included. As for the menthol juice or carts I would look at the home page here and the list of sellers and go through it to find one you like.

As for menthol, Innovapor also sells ECOPure - and has a few menthol deritatives.

EcoPure in general, is a very clean "tabaccoey?" taste. It is VG based and makes loads of vapor in my 510. The CoolRich has a hint of "chill", and their menthol is fairly bold... they have a mentholUltra version too, for those that really really really like menthol I guess.

Their CoolRich and Menthol are both very enjoyable to me, and I dont like menthol.
ECOpure rich was my first vape and I am kinda hooked on it.
