Hi everyone!

I started off with a joye 510 automatic slim battery starter kit that my brother and I split between the two of us. It was a great experience since I was sick of the "stinkies" but didn't want to give up smoking. It worked out great for a while and I had a new toy to play with. Early on I switched to carts instead of the Atty it came with and that was working well for me. I lasted 4 months on that, having a cigarette once in a great while until...my girlfriend decided to wash my ecig (in the pants pocket with battery attached) Yikes! Once I found out, I panicked and went back to my old friend Marlboro :-(

After smoking for the next year and a half I was getting sick of that relationship (the cigs, not the girlfriend, lol), and decided to start researching a better setup this time around. I was amazed at how many new products were conceived over the time I was gone!

I decided on an ego twist battery to get started again and i still had some pre filled carts laying around. I was hooked once again and soon ditched the carts for a couple of clearomizers which I'm currently using.

After pulling apart my first clearomizer for cleaning and experiencing how difficult it was, I came up with a better way using some of my machinist ingenuity.

The new ones unscrew? I think you have done a very wonderful thing, but they beat you to it. Next one you buy, make sure it is replaceable heads and that it unscrews both at the top and the bottom.

Thanks everyone! I do have some rebuildables on order since monday, thanks for suggesting though! I just figured I would help others with the non rebuildable style. Plus, I'm a tinkerer...

Nice job compared to my way...welded a 510-510 adapter on to a pipe, put in vice and pulled base off. VERY cool Vid.

That's the right way to do it. Not pulling on a good battery. Nice job.

Although the rebuildable phenominon will eclipse the need to do it...I hope.

Honestly, I was more worried about damaging my knuckles, and veins in my forehead with the force it took to jar the thing loose.

I handed over one of those clearos to a friend who just started vaping, so I now only have one to deal with for a while, the rest are rebuildable (screw type).

2 1/2 weeks without a cigarette, and my vaping materials have paid for themselves already with enough juice to last me at least two more weeks! Thats 2 Ego c twist 650 batteries, 3 clearos, 4 replacement heads, and 60 ml of juice.

Unfortunately (not being a machinist) I kind of gave up on CE4's as thoroughly cleaning them and pulling them apart in a vice was just too much.

Since switching to Vivi Nova's I have no issues cleaning and I get at least as good a throat hit and taste with plenty of vapor. and NEVER A LEAK. I found CE4's finnicky.
