Hi there,
I have been reading this forum for a while. But I have never registered to post anything. This forum has given me many ideas. So I decided not to only absorb all of your guys knowledge, but to add a little of my own.
I have had several devices in the past year or so. Mostly mods, but 3 different attys. I went from an Evod 2 starter kit, to a mini nautilus, to my sub tank mini. Mods I went from the small kanger pen batteries, to cf vv batteries, to an iStick 20w to an iStick 50w, and now a Sigelei 150w.
If there is anything that I could tell anyone who reads this that is trying to stop smoking with vaping; don't waste your money like I did.
Buy a good temperature control mod. I don't know of any good specific brands. But you are going to want to try vaping temp control before long after you start building coils.
Don't waste money going from cheaper to better like I did. Because you can always turn a regulated device down to suit your needs. But you can't turn some of the cheaper ones up as much as you would like some times, and they are not all that accurate either. On voltage or ohm reading.
No one ever needs 150 watts. Holy crap, my 150w mod was a gift. And it does work well, but the highest I've ever been with any build was 50 watts. But I'm an average vaper too. The only way I would ever turn my vape up that high would be if I needed a space heater or something gee whiz lol.
Your mod is probably a little more important from your tank. That being said, I had a great experience with my Evod 2 and my mini nautilus after buying better mods. But with that being said, both of those tanks are restricted to the coil heads that you buy. I had some terrible experiences with Aspire BVC coils. But I also had great ones too. It was just too hit or miss. Which is what pushed me to buy a sub tank mini. The best decision I feel like I made in all of my horrible vaping mistakes lol.
I have tons more that I want to say! I'm excited about becoming a member of this community and potentially helping other people with vaping concerns. I hope someone actually reads anything that I have to say. But moreover I hope that I can help someone else through some stumbling blocks that I tripped over when I first started vaping.
