Well here goes for the short version. Started dipping in high school and through my Navy days. After I left the Navy I went to work in the mail room of a cig company in VA (red and white are there main colors.) couldn't dip while at work, but could smoke all I wanted and they gave employees smokes by the carton back then. Fast forward 18 years I'm now a long haul coast to coast trucker. I currently reside in south west MO. 7/27/12 was my last cig, I got a couple crap kits from the truck stop and decided I was done. Three weeks later after some research on the web (not enough) I snagged a way overpriced ego-t kit with two 650 mah batts. Made my first e-liquid order and that's what I'm on rite now typing this.

So aside from being a semi old fart, I'm also a new and happy growing vaper.

Welcome aboard. To the semi old fart from the Show Me State.
Was in Saint Louis on business back in the 80's. Loved the BBQ and my trip up in the Arch. and the Budweiser tour. But that damn Monsanto plant literately gave me a headache. OH and the coffee plant. Making me want a cup right now just thinking of it.
I also got to see the caves south of SL

Glad on your getting a better unit. Yea I did a little better on my first. I did not get the best Atty for mine. But It got my feet wet.
Those cheap ones have chased off a lot of people. Have smoking friends that say. I tried that didn't like it . I ask what kind. The say the early cig lookalike and I go OH yea. With these you don't have to be able to suck a golf ball through a garden hose to use them.
Anyway welcome aboard. Glad you got on vape and off the tobacco. I'm really new but I already find that the thought of going back to cigars is just disgusting.
