New guy...

Hey everyone! I am new to vaping and to the forum. I can't edit my signature yet but I am at 7 days without analogs and loving it (wife loves it too!). We have a baby on the way and I have to quit the nasty habit.

I started out on this adventure with Blu ecigs a few months ago and as you all can imagine, I kept going back to analogs. A friend of mine was kind enough to sell me a used but working great Vision Spinner 1300mah with a vivi nova mini tank for a low, low price and I haven't looked back. I even have a half a pack of smokes sitting in a drawer that will be thrown away this weekend.

I have definitely been bitten by the vaping bug and have been visiting all of the shops in my area trying out juice and stocking up.

I am on the lookout for cheap batteries and tanks so if anyone knows of a site that sells parts at a discount, let me know. I have searched but there are so many stores and some of the seem kind of shady.

one word of caution would be to avoid buying stuff that is really cheap. you do get what you pay for in this market. A deal is one thing but something that is way below the normal price is usually a lesser quality product

What about the stuff on ebay? Is it real or reproduction? I have been looking at $20 Vision Spinner batteries so I can vape on one while the other is charging. Paying half price for a battery is very appealing to me.

Obviously it would be smart for me to get a pass through (and I plan to) but for the meantime. Going from a mod to the Blu is like inhaling air.

Thanks for the link but I am really enjoying the variable voltage. It would probably fit the bill for a back up though. I am considering it.

Last time I used ebay it had a decent feedback feature. I would check out the reviews, sometimes telling the difference between genuine products and knock offs can be hard. For example. I have 3 variations of the Ego C Twist battery.

One made by Joytech
One made by... possibly joytech????

All of them look feel and perform the same but one has no branding on it. I think doing a little background on the seller and products will go a long way. It is always nice to save some $$$ and not get ripped off.

Agreed and I am guessing with a lot of things, these batteries are all manufactured in the same couple of facilities and are branded by whomever is buying them in bulk.

Welcome aboard. Congrats on switching to vaping. . .and on the youngin a commin. I vapped for around 3.5 years. Smoked for >52 years. Now. . .I do neither. I'm living proof it works. JMHO
