been vaping for about five years now, just got my first rda today after trying someones at work. It's the V5 from altsmoke and I'm using it on my silver bullet, but not getting those big hits like others I've seen (which is why I got a rda). Can somebody point me where I can find out how to build coils and how to make it work better? Thanks

uh oh ... I don't have a rba.. but without being able to test your coil on an ohm meter or multi meter.. it's probably best to study up some.

Most people you see making large clouds make their own coils. Start lurking here and when your post count gets higher you can start posting there as well.

Guy at work told me the shop he got it from built it for him and enlarged the air holes
Yes on the MG of nicotine, I can use 18 in regular cartos and tanks but it about kills me in rda's, I wouldnt go above 6 maybe 12 if im nickin real bad lol. Anyway, Steps to big clouds in simple terms: 1: Mechanical Mod 2: RDA/RBA drilled out air holes (I like 1/16) 3: 28 gauge Kanthal 4: material of choice (cotton, silica, eko-wool, etc.) 5: Sub-Ohms, (wrapping wick so it reads .04, .05 an what not) (EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! DO NOT USE ANYTHING BELOW 1.2 without proper batteries. 6. Get proper batteries (20 amp, 30 amp) 7. Study ohms law, get ohm meter, multimeter, read, study some more, and YOUTUBE. STUDY SAFETY BEFORE ANYTHING.

You'd better start educating yourself with the basics before proceeding any further. You don't seem to grasp even basic knowledge of what your dealing with. It's not a good idea to put yourself in uncharted territory when dealing with something you know nothing about. Not trying to be rude or disrespectful, just trying to look out for you!
Thanks for all the info, I'm going to stick to using my tank and hold off on the RDA till I get the things you said. It seems I can get them all on amazon,

Radio Shack; circuit city; electronics stores. As for a DMM - Digital MultiMeter, and when measuring ohms, check your ZERO.
