No worries.I've just learned that the hard way. It wasn't a "crisis" when I was half (or less) vaping and half smoking, but now that I'm down to 4 or 5 butts a day and vaping like a madman it can ruin your weekend when a cart's a dud.
My girlfriend just bought me an eGo aio starter kit (she's sick of my whining). Seems like a decent place to start--no carts to worry about, simple design and inexpensive. I'll see how that goes and move on from there.

Ooh - the AIO sounds like a good choice - I've not used one myself, but I know that they are a very popular device, especially with those just starting out, and they are very simple and suitable as a first 'proper' device.
The Innokin T18/T22 are also good choices in that category.
I hope you've got some e-liquid(s) that you like, and have enough Nicotine in them to keep your cravings at bay as you quit your final 4/5 cigarettes!
