What I mean about weird shipping is that they go by grams.. this is a guess because I forgot ...$16 for up to 550 grams. My friend just got a kit with a few extras 630 grms for $21 their a little pricey shipping wise but as you shop for the ego. Alot of vendors are offering mixed/incomp kits like 1 cone but throw in an adapter 510/808....you'll see if you shop it but I'm just trying to save you some time and get 2 complete egos cause for example while your using one with a carto you can drip with the other one. The kit comes with 2 atomizers * that carts go on. They give the (2) attys with empty (NO Polly fill material~* with juice) carts don't just hit that when you get it charged ...... cause you'll get a mouthful of *primer (look it up) NOT A GOOD TASTE ......I DID THAT :O , learn from my stupidity. That's If you wanna try their juice....their empty carts are good for a temporary drip tip. *Super-t manufacturing (David) has *awesome drip tips *ingenious (inner lip ; prevents juice from spitting back up into your mouth). Stainless Steel t-tips are kinda heavy (toppled over my ego every time i stood it up), also made that mistake I returned them w/o any questions for the aluminum same tips (got a Shorty and a long t~tip very light.

Ok i hear ya, tooooo much for you right now. But refer back at a later date..!

...from too much information. I didn't know e-cigs existed until 2 days ago when I heard an ad on the radio, I've probably got 15 hours of reading on the subject done since then, and my head is swimming. 501, TH, PT, KR808, V4L, 901, vg/pg ratios... I'm about to overload my brain.

Hello, my name is Jay, and I'm an analog-aholic.:(

Your best advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to quit/greatly reduce the amount of cigs I smoke (2+ pad of American Spirit yellow box). Cost doesn't matter, if you know of the best e-cig out there that costs $alot I want to know about it. For now I don't care about size of the unit or battery life, I spend enough time driving from job to job or doing work at my computer. I'm looking for the closest experience in terms of throat hit, vapor, and taste to wein myself off of analogs. Ideally I would like something I could spend a of couple of minutes on in the morning, and just vape as needed all day.

I'm leaning toward the WetBox to start with. What do you guys say?

Welcome to the "Exploded Head" club, Juntas. I had NO IDEA how much there was to vaping 2 months ago, but it gets better and the fog WILL lift!!

As for what to get, Liberty Flights has Riva510's for $29.99 ($20 to $30 less than EVERYBODY else), and they are an excellent vendor. The Riva is exactly like the eGo only with a better battery button and longer batt life. All parts are interchangeable between the two. They vape like crazy and are very well liked at ECF. I just ordered a second kit as a backup (extra batts, charger, etc.)

I haven't used a 'wetbox' but I have read several negative posts here saying they were very unreliable and problematic. Check around for better alternatives if you want that type. Good Luck and Happy Vaping.

Hi.
I know its information overload but take time to read a lot about these and stick with a well known supplier.
I've only been vaping for 3 weeks and like you saw a fella i know with one and thought E-cig i'll get me one of those!!!!!
i have since bought 4 e-cigs:ohmy:
Got dse 901 as my first kit an auto draw device which i found a little under powered for me and i had to keep charging the batteries.
Then found the screwdriver great PV 3.7v and a great battery life liked it so much i got another in black as a spare:) and coupled with a 510 lr atty really cuts it and is low maintanence
I also now got a GGTS a real piece of work but is an advanced system that comes with no instructions so i would not look at something like that to start with unless your comfortable around technical items.
Hope you get sorted soon and happy vaping

the eGo is a decent starter for a stock model...

but if you want something that's going to last and give you options then I'd look at mods...
the 2 that are on my list are:
the ali'i (which is a box mod) wood handmade, has a bottom feed juice feeder and takes an 18650 or 2 16340 batteries...
http://www.rnrmanufacturing.com/

and the precise 18650 (tube style mod) all stainless, all mechanical, lifetime warranty, (a juice deeder will be coming out soon) and also takes an 18650 or 2 16340 batteries..
http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/id73.html

the 18650 battery right now is going to give you absolutely the best battery life and performance...
couple that with a LR306 atty and a 306 drip tip... and you should be set for the better part of your vaping life (or until you get bored and want something different)

Wet box is good. I use a Nicostick juice box when I'm on the go. I fill the bottle with liquid, make sure it's got a fully charged battery, and I'm good for the day.
For the throat hit, I suggest a HV mod or a 3.7 volt with a LR atty.

Actually I carry three with me. They seem to work better if they have a break now and then.

This is the way to go if you will be driving a lot. This way you can have a days supply of e liquid without haveing to change carts/cartomizers. There are a few out there. Just research them. I am looking to get one and I am leaning towards The Reo mini. It looks like it can take a beating. I am rough on things. But I have recently read that they are coming out with one that has an 18650 model I think it is called the Reo Grande.

Good luck to you.

Hey, welcome to ECF! You can see that most o the people here recommends eGo for your kit, I say you must try one set, and then go from there. Every person got a different taste, so I recommend you to try as many juice as you can until you found out what you like. What I can recommend is , buy a Mega/XL attomizer for your eGo (eGo atty type B). I have tried many options like low-resistance (LR) atty, cartomizers, LR cartomizers, XL cartomizers, driptips, until I found out about type B eGo atty. Flavours, TH, vapor are consistently good until the last drop, no washed out flavor and all, no fuss about refilling (just drip you juice to the big cart without any tool required), last all day (for me at least). You just have to experience it youself. oh.. the last but not least, before you vape for the first time, get rid of the primer liquid from your atty! They taste horrible.

wetbox is good, but do yourself a favor go check out cignot, and pickup an ego... you will not regret it and whats more is that you wont spend a small fortune trying to find the best one. After you get that and get off the analogs, then I might suggest getting into mods if you still want to. But truthfull you can't go wrong with an ego.

Yes. I really appreciate that people took the time to answer a question they must see all the time. Whenever I figure out what I'm doing, I plan to return the favor.

That's what it's all about around here...

See one...
Do one...
Teach one...

The people who have been around a while answer all of my "stoopid no0b" questions (and I still have them!) I turned around and tried to return the favor for the new people after me.
