Oh ok awesome will do. If you let your juices air out for around a day, what does it do mild down the flavor a bit? Sorry if that's a stupid question.

Some smell like alcohol or chemicals and letting it air out lets those evaporate. Not all juices are like that though. And steeping is with lid on and shaking it daily to get the flavors to completely mix and age. Think of it like a fine wine gets better with age. Not all juice company's pre-steep their juices because they are made to order but Halo does steep their juices but if demand is high they may pull it early.

And if you don't like a juice today don't throw it away after your tastebuds change you may love it in the future.

And no questions here are ever stupid.......we were all new here at some point and we all have to learn and are still learning. :)

And be sure to drink plenty of water because vaping can be dehydrating.

Ok thanks for that. I didn't even think about it being dehydrating, so I'm really glad you said that. I will definitely keep in mind that if I don't like it at first then I may like it later comment.

Really appreciate all the great help I've gotten, I can't wait to start vaping!

back to the subject of steeping, can you over-steep?...how do you judge when to put the caps back on?
i got some juice from somewhere else and 2 out of 3 30ml bottles smelled like the worst perfume i ever smelled..i have had the cap off and took the drip nozzle out...well tomorro morn will be 2 days...they both smell a bit milder now but not enough for my liking...oh i been shaking them up every now and then...should i just go ahead and cap-um back up and stow-um away.....the other one which was menthol was good enough to vape this morn....so only 1 out of 3 is ready to vape ...i wanted to try another vendor cause of the prices...so i'm figuring that paying the extra bucks you get juice ready to go and when ya go cheaper the price you pay is waiting...school me please!

Airing out is letting it sit with the lid off but I wouldn't let it air out more than 24 hours. Steeping is with the lid on and giving it a good shake everyday letting it age. Most juices that need steeping are good after 1-2 weeks some need longer like 4 weeks.

I had one cherry tasted like a strong cough syrup and chemicals. I let it air out for 24 hours and then steeped it for 2 weeks and tried it again. It still has a mild cough syrup taste and it's a little perfumey so I aired it out for 12 hours and it is now steeping for another 2 weeks.
