being that it uses a single 18650 how does it get over 12 watts, since the vamo can't on a single 18650, or like the vamo does it require stacked 350s to get over 12watts?

Hana is made in the USA and uses an Evolv DNA20 chip ... Unlike the Vamo. You can read about the Evolv DNA20 chip here ...

(I can't explain it because I'm not a techie person! LOL! But there are others here that could! ;-) All I need to know is that it's DaBomb with how it performs! :D)

So the Vapor skinz you can remove the rear door, while the Jwraps is 1pc for the body that seals around the back door? Is there a quality difference between the 2 different companies?

I have received very nice wraps from both, just regret that I couldn't remove the door with the jwrap.:(

I figure that I won't be changing batteries but every 6-12 months (my current 18650's have been going strong for longer than that already), so the JWrap doesn't bother me. Plus, I love the blue one :)

As previously stated though, mine will sit here waiting until I've really made it ugly. I love the look & feel of it raw, but will want to wrap it somewhere down the line. I believe it was more than a year before I wrapped my Provaris, so, I'm thinking it will be along the same lines. I'll put in a fresh batt, wrap it, then do it again a year later. If the DNA20 is all its cracked up to be, it'll last that long. The body sure as (heck) won't break.

For sure, if you're not planning on changing out batteries, then the Jwrap will be perfect, I had the purple carbon fiber and it looked and felt amazing. I got a free matching wrap for my protank at the same time, and still have it on there, it's pretty cool.

You kind of lost me at, "My wife keeps breaking provari's..."

I has a vent-hole at the bottom, which (as pointed out earlier by someone) is redundant since it also has a USB port. Yes, you can passthrough.

Drops - I hope to never find out, actually; but it's well built as anything I've used. Even the Provari, which I guess doesn't help you much.

What does she do with them, anyway? Play catch? :D

I will be honest, not sure how she does it, but the topcap has come off twice now... first time, sent it back... second time all the electronics came out with it... I have dropped mine a couple times with no issue.. other than a scuff..... looking for something build like a tank i guess now.

Well, for something with circuitry, Hana is the closest thing I've found (to a tank). But I can't speak for everyone, so...

If she's a big dropper, though, you might also want to consider a mechanical mod. They're not my thing, but people love them.

Yea, thought about a mech mod, but I think a mod that can regulate power and let you know when to replace a battery is my best bet.....she is a pick up and go kind of person... doesn't want to learn about voltage meters and the like.

I get it. I have to check my wife's voltage setting, now and then, to make sure she's not frying stuff.

I'd recommend either a Hana or Duggout. Both DNA20 (so there's a battery meter), both very well built. Hana is almost exactly the size of a cig pack, while Duggout is more, Idunno, rectangular, I guess. Thinner, side-to-side, but thicker, front to back. I'm about to post one up in the classies, so you can see what they look like.

Good luck with whatever you decide. And maybe wrap it in foam or something for her ;)
