First off i have to say I LOVE the idea of this and I think that this could be an ultimate alternative/quitting aid. I am currently on Chantix and I dont like the way it makes me feel plus I am having a hard time getting over the "taking a break" something to do, socializing aspect of smoking.

I wish I would have done some research first becasue i got hit by a Mall Kiosk for $300 that included two kits with an extra battery, two cases, and 4 extra packs of cartriges (My wife got one too). The brand we got was smokinganywhere gold.

So far my inittial impressions are not so great so i am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction. The cartriges only last for the first 3-4 smoking sessions, after that the vapor is very week. both me and my wife have tried swapping batteries and different inhale techniques but the only thing that seems to work is putting in a new cartrige. This is dissapointing becasue at $10 for a pack of five its not much cheaper than smoking real cigg's

If i could get a bit more longevity out of them and make my own liquid (I'm a DIY geek) I would be a happy camper. Those first few vaper smokes are awsome! What is the best setup for longevity and quality?

Carts never last as long as advertised. You can get unflavored liquid and add in your own flavors. For unflavored liquid I highly recommend:

Electric Cigarette & E Liquid - Totally Wicked Electronic Cigarette Fluid
or
www.juicyliquid.com

I would buy the 36mg strength. You can then cut (dilute) it with propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin down to your desired strength. (I vape 12mg).

You can buy flavors from juicyliquid above or
www.lorannoils.com

I personally really like Lorann's butterscotch.

You should get a syringe to inject the carts that you have with the liquid you make.

As far as the ecig you purchased. I think you paid a high price relative to other models. I have no experience with the model you purchased, someone will be along shortly I am sure............

Don"t throw away the old cartridges. Do some looking in the forum, and make a decision on some juice. Pick up a sample pack with different flavors, and refill the carts.

Don't take my word for it, but I like Johnson Creek Smoke Juice. I use the vanilla, which has a sweet taste. No problems with atomizers. Like I said, look around. everyone has their favorites. You'll just have to make a choice and go with it. Get a small amount first, and if you like it, order more. If not? Try another brand.

Carts don't last long, and most companies exaggerate on the length of time. You'll go broke buying carts alone. Juice is the way to go. Making your own?? I wouldn't try it right away. Get some research under your belt first.

If I was you I would get off the Chantix. My bro-in-law was able to get of cigs with that but it really messed him up. It really changed his personality from calm and patient to lots of angry outbursts and sometimes almost violent outburts. He also developed diabetes on it. Can't prove that's what did it but some research pointed that way. Ecigs are a much nicer calmer way to go. Sorry you lost so much money on your initial purchase. Hope you can use this forum to make an educated decision and buy one that will work for you. I personally like the penstyles. DSE801.

Welcome to the forum BTW

Mall kiosks, and retailers are *very* expensive, but the up side is, you pay, and it's in your hand. Since I travel, people ask me where they can get one fast. Pilot, and T/A truck stops sell the NJOY starter kit for $80.00. Still, if it lasts 2 months, it's paid for itself.

I paid the 80 bucks to get it fast, and now I'm searching for bargains to stock up.

Thanks for the replies. My curiosity got the better of me and i dissected the cartridge I have :) The little cotton ball with the liquid is no bigger than a very small pebble!! I visited Puresmoker and the the size difference is considerably bigger lol and the vendor told me one cartridge was the same as one pack!

Anyway, I really like that the smokingeverywhere e-cigg is discrete and similar to a normal cig. I think I will use this for work and get my wife and I a pen style with a USB pass through for the car and at home.

Sounds like a good choice to me. That "cotton ball" is not cotton. I found the best thing to do, is throw away the worn out fiber, and replace it with fiber from the pet store. Tropical Fish Filter Material. One package will give you a huge supply.
