I am going to buy my first e-cigarette starter kit, and want to know if anyone knows about evapor cigarette, the smoke shop by my house sells them and said they are great. and what about vapor king?

The VK (KR808D-1) from Vapor4life is the model I use and it's great, especially for a beginner. If you'd like to learn more about it or ask questions you can go here:

Vapor4Life - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

But don't bother with evapor- if it's the website I found they want $100 for a starter pack (ONE atomizer, ONE battery, 15 carts and a charger). Also be aware that lot of businesses will scam you into accepting a "free" kit and they'll sign you up for a subscription.

You can get a very good starter kit from many suppliers for less than $40. Stick around the forums for a few days, do some reading and ask some model specific questions before making a decision.

There are a lot of great suppliers here on the forums who's reputations depend on not ripping you off. You can ask questions of them directly:

Here's pretty much everything you need to know to get started asking the right questions:

After you've read through that here are the Model Specific subforums where you can learn more about the most popular models and where to buy them:

Hope this helps.

I agree with what Birdy said. I'll go one step further, if it's the site I found it's a rip off. I'm not as nice as Birdy.:D

A lot of people around here swear by the KR808D-1. It is probably is good for the beginner. Low maintenance, easy to use. I wouldn't know, however I don't doubt them. Lots of good people around here recommend them.

Later on you might want to consider some of the other brands.

Reading http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/36180-wonderful-world-vaping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-parts-1-through-6-a.html is a good idea.
