Attys - you should have a spare. I have 2 spares so i have one I am using, one I am cleaning in alcohol and drying, and one total spare in case one fails. Every weekend I switch to the dry cleaned one and drop the one I used all week into the alcohol, and I swish it around occasionally. After a day or two I take it out and set it on paper towels to dry, and the next weekend I switch to that one. Keeping your attys clean will help extend their life.

batteries - heck yeah. The only way I can imagine 1 battery being enough is if you planned to use an AC to USB passthrough instead of a battery for most of the time you are awake, and never go anywhere that you would need to use the battery for more than its charge life. And even then, batteries can fail eventually. If you have 2 batteries and a PCC you can charge the battery you aren't using, right in your pocket. That's what I do though I screw up sometimes so I might actually start carrying a 3rd charged battery with me. I think I now own 5 batteries and a backup PV (another model) with its own PCC, Hahaha. new vaper + shopaholic.

Carts - I have a different PV with smaller carts, and when a cart is new and filled it might last 8-10 short sessions for me (each 4-8 puffs) before it starts to taste a bit dry. Then I start topping it off with 1-3 drops when I think it needs it. I can often get 4-6 days out of one cart, first by topping off, and then when it becomes more resistant to absorbing drops, I carefully remove the filling, press between paper towel to dry it, fluff it just a bit. I rinse and wipe dry the mouthpiece and inner cart. Then fill the cart about 2/3 with juice, slip the filling in then top it off. That will rejuvenate it a bit. When the cart can't be rejuvenated, I toss the filling, wash and dry the other parts, make a blue foam plug stuffing for it, and bottom/top fill it, and that stuffing is more easily reusable. So basically - the plastic parts of a cart should be almost infinitely reusable by cleaning, various materials exist for making fresh cart stuffing, and there a LOTS of juices available. So with a bit of work they could last a long long time. They just don't vape a long time without refilling or topping off.

I think the best answer is that you should have at least one spare everything...considering that you can't run to the local market to buy these items. Unless you are willing to go back to analogs until you can reorder...it is a personal choice kinda thing for all. But if you have a spare battery, atty, carts, etc.. and juice you will not need to worry. It does take some time to learn...still learning alot myself. Best of luck to you, and hang in there.
