I can appreciate your problem... It was about a month into vaping that I learned never
to use an Aspire BDC until I made sure the wicks were soaked and primed.
Soaking first for about 10 minutes... and then without firing up the unit...
I inhale at least 2-3 (dry hitting) times without hitting the button... just to reassure the wicks are primed.
Since the time I learned that lesson... never have I suffered (dry) any burnt taste.
Wheather a BDC or any other type of coils... this is a lesson to learn and share.

Ditto. I burned out a brand new coil by hitting it too quickly after installation. Now I know better.

Both of them are great tanks, you just need to get a hold on them. I have both, I had some issues with the nautilus, but it was resolved. I still own and use my first tank, the bdc, no issues with that so far. Been using it for months now.

I happen to live not far from an e-cig store and I know for a fact that they have both because I saw them when I was there today... Will be making a trip tomorrow.

You need to buy some BVC bottom vertical coil to use in your BDC bottom dual coil tank. They are compatable. Everyone has been raving praises on the new coil.

These are NOT compatible with the new BVC coils!!! The new BVC coils are for Nautils and mini Nautilus tanks, not the other Aspire models.

I have heard rumors that they are going to be coming out with BVC coils for the other BDC Aspire tanks, but they won't be released until late August. I have not been able to confirm those rumors.

I waited about 15-20 minutes after I filled it before I turned it on and tried to use it. Its been hours now and it still tastes no better

Are you trying to use the same coil that gave you the burnt taste over and over? You may have "burnt" that coil out. I suggest starting with a new coil and then soaking, dry puffing, and using it.

Good Luck. There may be frustrations to start (you may not remember, but getting the hang of smoking without losing your lunch or coughing like there was no tomorrow happened when you started that), the life without cigarrettes is well worth the adventure.

It tasted bad from the moment I took it out of the package, filled it and tried to use it. I literally just got it today. I am taking it back tomorrow...the young lady said she would check the coils and change them if needed.
