I'm a new vaper, for about a month. I have settled on V4life at home, and Blucigs on the road (due to the recharging case they have.)

One thing I'd like to ask the forum about, is how long should a cartomizer from V4l last? I find that if I use the V4L passthrough, the cartomizer doesn't seem to last as long as if I use the auto batteries. I'm thinking it's due to the extra heat from the passthru. I usually vape these at night when I'm on my computer, and tend to want to do this continuously.

Anyone else have this issue?

Also, I haven't gotten into refilling yet, but am ready to venture into this when my eliquid arrives tomorrow. So, I've been vaping the cartomizer to it's end and then discarding. To me, this seems a waste. Hopefully, the eliquid will extend the life.

Yes the extra heat makes cartos singe more easily

re auto batteries - I recommend V4L manuals - safer from being damaged/killed by juice leaks, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration, and manuals make it easier to get a good hit. Consider a manual as a spare. Nice batteries since V4L has that long 10-second safety cutoff.

Liquid - I use PG w/ 20% VG or less and some V4L WOW juices. And I avoid any juices that see to drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing. I can use a V4L carto for a week if I am careful to keep it damp. But they can sometimes leak a bit when you keep them damp so I strongly recommend a spare battery, preferable a manual.
