Hi everyoone I am very new to the world of vaping and these Forums. Four weeks one day off the analogs. I wanted to thank eveyone for their help in the forums and for those of you helping me outside of thses e-walls. (Happy Rob and Katherine) The guys at Happy Vaper have been great with answering my questions and laughing at me as I show at Dr. Fleas every weekend to get soemthing new.
This quitting the smoking thing has not been easy for me! I have had cancer twice and still sucked away on my cancer sticks (only a smoker or ex-smoker can grasp this) With another scare about 8 months ago I tried to quit again and failed again always going back to the smokes. My wife is due any day now with our first child a boy (Declan is the name we have chosen) and I promised her that I would quit before he came, (of course I really never had much intention of doing so, just wanted her to leave me alone and let me smoke) A friend of mine introduced me to the world of vaping and I recently jumped in with both feet. It has been a ride that is for sure, different models, mods, carts, atty's dripping etc.. has been more than over whelming. And all this without the mention of trying to find an ADV (all day vape for the new people. Eventhough I think I just figured that out yesterday LOL) that I enjoy. Everyone that I have met or corrisponded with has been great I have even spent hours watching e-liquid reviews thanks "therealmac" for them all! It helps and I have taken your advice on some and I am eagerly awaiting thier arrival via snailmail.

Again thanks for the help, the support and the patience to answer all of my silly questions. With this new world opening up for me I just might live to see my son grow old.
Rob (collectuer) silly nickname from yrs ago because of my passion in collecting just about anything.

Hey collectuer Rob. :D. Im very new to this as well. One week today actually. Not sure overwhelming is even close to what I have felt lately. Im slowly getting it and learning more every day. Congrats to you and your wife. We are also expecting our first little girl in November. I too thought, ya I will quit... Every smoke I put in my mouth made me think more and more about actually doing it. It wasn't till stumbled across an E cig thread on an Audio forum that I was able to make a change.

Declan is a wicked name. Cool choice. Im sitting here with Smoke NVs waiting for 2 seperate orders due this week. Its tuff. Really tuff but I also watch as many vids and read as much as possible like you as well. Im like a kid myself right now waiting. Its a bit of a drive to Dr. Fleas but I think next weekend Im heading there just to check it out.

Congrats again and lets stick to it for good this time.

I know how the waiting is and i have to admit I have gone a little crazy. I have 4 orders that I am waiting on
1. Halo juice
2. Pink spot juice
3. A VMOD XL and now I just ordered more juice from
4. Stinky Canuck

I think it is my fear of having to find the right juice and system to use it on so I don't go back to smoking. So far I have spent way more on this than smoking but I am positive its healthier and I am sure the cost will work itself out in the long run. Redds pack with extra batteries and carts, ego-c kit and one ego-twist. and now the VMOD XL I am $300 easy into e-cig'S and that is not counting the juice; another $300 easy I would say. Get SAMPLERS is my best advice! Oh well that is only 2 months of smoking so I know iin the long run cheaper. I just have to cool it on the e-cigs. I am hoping that I find the juice quick so I can settle in and pace myself a little better.

Welcome to the forum. Finding what works is a PAIN, but worth it. I'd suggest looking into the account verification so you can access the classified section of the forum. Once you find out what doesn't work for you, you can probably sell it to recoup some of the money and spend it on things that do work. :)

Welcome and congrats on your family additions. Collectuer its maybe a good thing you chose the name Declan before you got too far into vaping because the name might have been Lava Tube or ProVari or Cartomizer. Come to think of it some of the juices you'll get into like "Pink Spot" might have provided some inspiration. On juices take a look at Jughead's quality and excellent service and a Canadian.
