Hey all!

I go by Claytomus (Clay-ta-muss) in the online world. I'm 33, married, and 5 kids. I smoked cigs for 17 years (started at 14) I vaped for a couple years off and on but finally committed to it and had my last cigarette on Dec. 31, 2015. Haven't regretted a day of it since.

I've worked myself down to 3mg nicotine and hope to be nic free by the end of the year. I started with the eGo batteries and after a year and a half I now do lots of coil building and stuff of that nature. Part of what helped me quit smoking was getting interested in building my own coils and the "hobby" that vaping can become along with the pleasure of vaping.

I make my own coils and vape my own mixes of ejuice for the most part but occasionally try some other brands when they are cheap and have good reviews.

Looking forward to just reading the forums and chatting about vaping and all the fun jazz that goes along with it with you all.

Hello and welcome! I never expected vaping to become a full blown hobby for me, yet here I am running with the big dogs. :)

I honestly didn't either. Once I got over the idea that it was a "toy" and took it seriously as a quit smoking aid, it did the trick. Now it's taken on a whole new life of it's own as one of my hobbies :D.

Yup, after the first few generations of very limited devices, when the "serious" hardware started coming out, it was a huge game changer.

It was meant to help my wife quit... now it's a full time job for me.. :p
