Hi, I'm new. I want to quit smoking again. It just grosses me out. This time has proved much much harder than my first time going cold turkey. My hope is to start vaping, and wean myself from nicotine. More than nicotine addiction, its the physical habit thats really keeping me smoking.

I ordered a v2 in late june solely due to the fact they had a groupon for $24 and I had a $10 groupon credit. Making my out of pocked $15. Seriously good deal. I know it's not considered as a great brand from my lurking around here. Yet, I cannot afford a supreme setup right now.
I'm STILL waiting for groupon to even update tracking info. Argh.:glare:
I also ordered a 30ml total e-juice sampler from another retailer to get me started.

I had tried an e cig in the past, but it gave me issues. I am hoping to keep it as back up though OR if its worth it, get it in tip top.
It was one my mother gave to me but has very little info on receipt except that it was purchased from Headlines. It's a manual, 3 piece (including the mouthpiece, where the e juice medium of cotton like substance is visible). The box is labeled only Black US 510 (specs: legnth: 112mm/Battery power: max 180-200 operations per use/Battery life:300 charges/Charging time 120min/ 3.0v-3.2v

Now, I do wish it would work better, first the e juice made a mess in the box from one mouthpiece, it leaked right out. But worse, it hurts my cheeks to puff on it. The pull on it is awful. I know nothing about the contained juice, except that one was equiv to full strength cigarettes nicotine and one was 0mg . Because they weren't labelled, I cannot tell which is which.
vapor production, flavor and any throat feeling was near 0 anyways for the one that didn't leak everywhere. It felt like I was just giving my cheeks/lungs a workout.

I'm assuming other 510 parts might fit it? I can post up pictures if needed. I'm wondering maybe a different mouthpiece may help? or something else.

Hoping the v2 will work better, so I can finally stop smoking and start vaping.

Hi Neya and welcome to ECF! I haven't heard of the Black US 510. It may be a rebrand of something else. The 510 in the name probably refers to the connection type - where/how you attach the cartridges. Based on the spec's you provided it is a typical cig look-alike. You may be able to attach other juice systems to it but it likely will not do a good job with them.

The V2 is a respectable ecig. I know several people that have been using it long term and happy with it. Depending on your vaping, you will likely want a few more extra batteries and cartridges as you can really go through them quickly in a day. If you don't have the extras, when a battery runs out, or you use your last cartage when out and about, there is a high risk of falling back on analogs.

Thanks for the fast reply :)

You're most likely correct. Given there's no branding at all, Im pretty sure it's generic. Shame given the (really expensive) amount my mother paid for it... more than v2 kits which I think full price are insane.

Here's hoping the v2 feels better.

I feel a bit dumb now. Found the charger and checked it out. Labeled a Joye510.
Considering it was sealed when purchased, I'm not sure if that makes the whole bit a joye, or if its just a fake branding or what.

It doesn't look like the new joye510s (charger wise) but it IS quite old. The original setup was given to me 2 years (?) ago and I never really touched it after the first spill, problems, and just generally not being impressed.

Anywho, hopefully some tinkering will help so I can have a few backups. The v2 is coming with a manual and auto, so hopefully I can get some e juice, empty carts, etc and never be without something.

Welcome Neya,

If it is a 510 connection you can buy any 510 cartomizers or clearomizers to use on it. They should give you an easier time using it, and you can refill with any juice you like.
