Hello! I'm new here, and I'm wondering what people recommend using. I'm almost a month without a real cigarette and I have to say I don't miss it. I was a pack a day smoker for six years straight, and recently came across someone with horrible copd, which scared me straight into vaping.

I started out with a mistkettle, which taught me a lot about how vapes work. I could read and read to no avail, but learning is a hands on thing for me. I busted two tanks already, but the good thing about this is that the tanks are rebuildable. I didn't know that at first. I had the setting on the highest and held the button down far longer than I should have and killed two tanks that way.
I have a 2.8ml tank on a smaller ego style body.

I have the vision spinner 2 on it's way from eBay, and also an ego x6 as well. I'm not very well versed in this yet, so forgive my ignorance.

I would love some insight on everything, and to learn about the parts I would need and how often I'd need them. I'm a kind of person that has to have at least two back ups at all times. I would always have two unopened packs of cigarettes with me at all times, so it's the same with vaping.

I have used, worn out, broken 3 Ego batteries, 2 Vamo3's and am now using a SVD ( which is about 10 months old). The Egos lasted about 3 weeks, the Vamos lasted about 2 months.... this SVD is holding strong and working like a dream... with that said, I would be tempted to have you consider the SVD as your next purchase, Im glad I bought mine :)

and ... Welcome to ECF !!!

Welcome to the forum.

As to your question about which, what, mod to buy that is really up to you.

What I have is 2 non variable voltage eGo style batteries that came in a starter kit from Mig-Cigs. I've had them for about 2+ months and they work fine.

I have 2 Vamo V5's that also work fine. Had them about a month and a half +. I would not recommend them for various reasons.

I also have a Vision Spinner II. Had that for about 5.5 weeks. Again it works fine and I would recommend that if you don't need or want something that reads ohms and has limited voltage adjustments.

I also have a Innokin iTaste VV V3. That does have variable voltage and variable wattage (I don't use the variable wattage feature on any of my battery devices), can read ohms, has a LED screen, a Puff counter (waste) and charges from any USB power port or wall adapter.
I use this unit the most of the eGo style, type, battery devices.
I highly recommend the iTaste VV for a small easy to use device.

I also have a Provape Provari which goes everywhere with me. So yes I recommend the Provari but it might be out of your price range and it is bigger then you may want.

All in all most any battery device will do what you need it to do. That is supply electricity to the coil head in your atomizer to vaporize the e-liquid.

Then it all boils down to what you want and need as far as size and features.

Best of luck to you and Stay Off the Cigarettes.

By the way I am not a Box Mod fan. To big and bulky for my tastes.
