I want to thank everyone for their insight on chosen a new vaporizer. I think I'm going to go two ways because of the line of work I do I think I'm going to get me about 5 or 6 ,1100 style battery's and a couple T3s tanks for work so if they break no big deal and then when I'm at home I'm going to go with a MVP v2 box mod to see if I like the box but eventually I want to learn how to make vaporizers from scratch

i thought at first i'd not like the mvp v2 cuz of it's boxiness....but I bought one and now it's my all day device....it fits in my work shirt pocket, it lasts (well I don't know really....I get nervous and every 2 or 3 days I charge it) a long time, it's a passthrough battery so you can charge and vape at same time....it checks the atty's oHm, it's vv and vw....and  if I was desperate I could use it to charge my iphone :D

while the ego's are nice to have as backups....you really only need 1 ;) the mvp won't let you down and it can take a beating...

also with tanks, always try to get glass or metal tanks so that you don't have to worry about tank cracking juices....

if you don't mind buying from china and can wait about a month FastTech is dirt cheap (the walmart of vaping) just make sure to read review/discussions or ask here before buying something.....the mvp v2 if you haven't already found a place to buy it from $39.99 mvp v2

Great choice on the MVP! Two pieces of advice. One...don't over tighten your tank. Just screw it down until you feel a little resistance. Two.....Use your beauty ring that comes with it. It stabilizes any 510 type tank you use and will help prevent stripping the threads. I lied, one more, three....keep the box it comes in. You'll need it in the unlikely event you need to use the warranty for the authentication code and to return it in.

Thanks for the insight on the MVP v2 I think that's really something I want check out to see if I like it

Love my MVP2. And I love my Kanger T3S clearos. Match made in heaven. I actually prefer baby T3S, but they don't hold a lot of juice.

Also, I wouldn't buy 6 eGo-class vv batteries. Two or three is all you need. You may also like the smaller version of the MVP2, the iTaste VV V3. Only 700 mAh, but it does everything that the MVP does--and it can be used as a passthrough, which means you can vape it while it's charging.

Good luck!

I also love my MVP 2.0!! That's the device I first started vaping with and that's what finally got me off of tobacco cigs. I've been smoke free ever since!! :) The MVP is so great because you can do just about anything with it. Before I purchased my first mech mod I was using a helios rda on it. My friends thought it couldn't be done but I assure you, as long as you keep the ohms above 0.8, you can drip and vape away with it, I found that it worked best with either 30 gauge or 28 gauge kanthal and keeping the ohms around 1.5-1.8 did the trick very nicely.
