Hi, new guy.

I'd post this elsewhere but I'm new, soooo.....

I'm sort of new to vaping but have read a lot. I started with a blu as a way to get off the butts a couple weeks ago and jumped into personal vaporizers with both feet. I haven't dropped the analos completely but I'm down from a pack a day to 4-5, after 40 years of smoking.

Anyway, I have picked up a few devices so I'm always armed for battle: A couple generic ego batteries, a kanger evod kit, a joye ego twist, and an itaste mvp 2. Also got assorted tanks, spare coils and even some supplies to rebuild the kanger coils - which I have done successfully. Yay.

My question, and it's a simple one: What the heck are the extra o-rings (that come with the kanger pro tank 2 and mini pro tank 2) for?...the drip tip?

I ask because I removed the o-ring from the tank base, and in its "decompressed" state it is not much bigger than the spares. I had thought the spares were for the drip tip but now I'm not so sure.

Hi Joe

Sory you had to get caught up in that "bye" thread.

You got some nice stuff going on there. A lot of people who start with Blu can't seem to completely get off analogs - the Blu experience just isn't "enough."

They are spares and you will need 'em. Go to the SunVapers web site. On that site they show all the ProTank o-rings for both size tanks and which is for what part of the tank. It's also an excellent vendor to get replacement glass and extra o-rings from.

And welcome!

I stopped at a BP station the other day and the guy at the counter was puffing on what appeared to be an eGo. They sold Blu and the eGo clone, along with 15ml bottles of juice. He looked at my Provari and asked what it was. That led to an extended conversation in which he told me about two other vape shops in town I didn't know about.

Obviously the vaping world is expanding.

Fantastic. I was wondering about the other o-rings. I'm pretty sure at some point during cleaning I'll lose or break (or just wear out) the rings at the top and bottom of the glass.

Thanks for the reponse, and the welcome.

Oh, and regarding the "bye" thread - I found it compelling enough to make my first post after lurking for a couple weeks. I thought it was hilarious.

Hilarious - and a little painful too. The only time we eat New Members is when they show up and cop an attitude like that. We feed the Newbies here, we do not bash New Members - just because they are New Members, Doesn't happen here.
