I have an evic with a protank 2 and love it. But I would like to go sub ohm with somthing like a kayfun lite plus. Any suggestions ? Can I still use my evic ?

Don't think you can go sub ohm on a evic. Don't see any reason why you would want to sub ohm a kayfun on a VV/VW device, get a dna-20 mod and a kayfun, most juice taste like .... above 15 watts.

No..evic cuts out at 1.2ohms.. ahs the reason to go subohm is too get high powers typical chips aren't capable of.. there are a few chips that can produce high power outputs with normal resistances, the most popular -dna.
Multimeter..good batteries.. and research. I feel like people that need to ask what you need to use deciohm coils with need to study up before considering it as an option.

If you want to sub ohm you should First learn a little about ohms law battery safety and get a multi meter Then a mechanical mod and a dual coil RDA RBA like an Aqua would be a good choice
Agreed and the dna-20 can fire a 0.7 sub ohm coil if the batts are up for it + the dna-30 is on its way and it will probably fire a 0.5ohm coil.
Going sub ohm on a kayfun wouldnt be useful. Using them at 1.5-1.7 ohms has always worked best for me. If you want to go sub ohm, go with a mech mod. Otherwise, DNA 20's are the best for those types of builds

Why would you need to have a 0.7ohm coil on a dna-20?? watts are watts and the dna-20 will give 20 watts even on a 3.3 ohm coil.
Well he's talking about dna-20's..... so I guess what hes saying is that there is no need to go sub ohm on a dna-20.
Thanks guys. Ive done alot of searching, reading, and watching videos but just had some different questions. I like a lot of vape production and the idea of doing different builds and wanted somthing that would handle it. I looked at the aqua clone and the kayfun lite clone, and a orgin clone mod. I just didnt know if I didnt have adjustable wattage if it would be a downfall or if I would be missing out on anything

Only downfall with mechanicals is that you don't have a constant output, and making your coil to get specific watt range, but I'll take that for the compact package and look..

The new dna-30 will put out 30 watts and keep you safe as it checks the ohms and the battery for you. You can kick a mech mod to get a more consistent vape if it has room for a kick. Kayfun will produce a decent amount of vaper but a decent dripper will give you more vapor than a kayfun.
When chasing clouds get something that is proven to handle sub ohms, mods & batts etc. You don't want to hurt yourself! I don't know if going all cloney is the way to go, some clones are good some are not and most of the clone manufactures don't have good quality control if any. Im not against clones but most of the time you get what you pay for. Remember also to decrease your nic levels when testing sub ohming, you will be putting a lot more nic into body.
