hey everybody, im jeff. been reading the forums while trying to decide what to buy and what i woul dneed to get started and all that so i figured i would register incase i had a question. i think ive decided with a 501 but ive been seeing the prices range from $25-65 so i guess i got more reading to do and figure out what the difference is. or does anybody want to recommend a good reputable site to order a 501 kit from thats not too over priced?

Welcome to the crowd, Jeff. What RIMP said is true. Cignot has the best prices and really great service. If you are not opposed to spending on the high end of your range, the Ego or one of its comparable models is what most of us end up buying after we start with the 510. The reason is that 510 batteries only last about an hour and a half. The Ego batteries last 8-12 hours depending on how hard you vape. Either way, the 510 or the Ego, both are compatible from and atomizer standpoint. It's the batteries that are different as well as the cone on the Ego that makes it more efficient and gives it slightly more vapor than the 510.

Either is a good choice.

Right now Cignot has a 510 no box kit for about $35. Litecigusa has a boxed kit for $42.95 with free shipping. I bought mine from litecig and delivery was within 3 days. If you order one my suggestion is to get the passthrough too. It hits better and no need to charge batteries, and it's cheap at $13. Just get an extra atty if you decide to buy one so you can leave it on the passthru. Also, order a few bottles of different flavor juices and a few boxes of carts or carto's at the same time. I made the mistake of not doing so and had to place another order for supplies. Keep in mind the batteries seem to need constant recharging on the 510 so order a PCC too, or just order the Ego instead. It cost more up front, but the batteries last a lot longer between charges and it'll save you from upgrading to it in the future. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy the Ego.

I got my 510 kit from http://thevaporpro.com/ Ordered it money, got it thursday without delay, even a HAND WRITTEN thank you for ordering and hope you enjoy message from the owner. How can you beat that? I paid a little bit higher price.. wish I wouldn't of but oh well I REALLY love it. It is a manual, I won't touch autos again. And I did order the PCC case with mine and will be getting a usb pass over soon enough. Now I did find an AMAZING 510 deal today and it's what I will be getting with my next kit purchase. It can be found here: Esmoker 510 Travel Kit

There is also a review done on it from here: YouTube - Esmoker 510Travel Kit Review from Esmokeronline.com

as far as how many carts you need, I personally will be getting a 10 pack extra along side the 5 i already got with the kit. I plan on preloading my carts and don't throw away the plugs for them XD Buy a min of 2 more attys, at least 1 more bat and make sure to have some e-juice ordered on the same day that will hopefully arrive on the same day as the kit. How to solve that problem? Buy a bottle from your kit supplier if they sell them. That way when you run through the 5 prefilled carts you can just fill them right back up again and keep on vaping :)
Good luck, welcome to ECF! And happy vaping!

thanks. im gonna read up on the ego real quick and see if i decide to get that one. ive been wanting to get some sort of ecig for awhile now just never put the effort into the research till the other day. its pretty overwhelming all the info lol. i just got a prepaid visa from my work as a safety reward so i figured why not stop smoking those smelly things and actually buy one of these.

that is a fantastic idea ^^ Seeing as I just got my 510 thursday afternoon and it's now 2:30am.. I love the thing. I tried smoking an analog just a min ago and about gagged.. it tasted sooo gross in just a short amount of time. I was really amazed when after just 8 hours of vaping, I could breathe better. The coughing part doesn't bother me, but when I took in an actual full breath.. i didn't cough! I was just absolutely amazed that it didn't take long at all to start noticing a big difference. I thought it be a few weeks!

just ordered my ego kit that comes with two complete units and a little juice. pretty stoked to try this out.
yeah its cool to get stuff just for nobody getting hurt, its been a year since a lost time injury so last week we all got ipods then tonight they bbq'ed us rib eye steaks and gave us $100 prepaid visa cards. so i figured it was free money to begin with so why not go with the ego.

thats awsome, im excited. maybe i can even get other people into these. would be cool if there was a place in town that sold the juice though so i didnt hve to worry about running out when i do start

I guess I'm lucky, Vaporbomb is only 10 miles from me. I plan on visiting their new store VERY soon. Unfortunately for me I've got 15 bottles of Dekang juice on my hands.
